I have a queen size Sealy Posturepedic GRANT Plush Pillowtop.. thats how the label looks on the side of the mattress. its the most comfortable bed ever. everyone who has ever laid on my bed tells me they wanna steal it. fuck space foam/memory foam. this bed is the shit! its got a nice soft top but its supportive and you sink into it just the right amount. my girlfriend can get sleepy and pass out at any time of day just from laying on this bed for a while. I can fall asleep in minutes on this thing and i used to be a severe insomniac. i highly recommend it, but i have no idea how much it cost. its a good 6-7 years old now. can't be that much though. whatever it does cost, its worth it.

Wish I had one of those. I bought one fairly cheap but after 5 years of monkey sex it has deteriorated a bit.
Oh yea queen size, I want a King. The damn cats are bed hogs.

I have a pillow-top, queen size Simmons beauty rest. It was just over 1k.
I'd spend it again in a heartbeat.

i sleep on the floor with a blanket or two under to insulate against the cold ground stealing my heat. it's what some japanese do.
i also think humans don't need to spend so much money replacing a bed every ten years or so when we slept in trees and such before. if you're healthy your frame should be able to take sleeping on the floor with no discomfort. it helps spine alignment and all that jazz
plus i can pack it up and have a fat amount of space in my room. put the bed back down and then it triggers you psychologically that it is time to sleep.

I can't sleep on anything smaller than a king. I've heard some bad stuff about that memory foam. Actually, I'm getting a free king size memory foam mattress soon because I know someone who bought one and hates it. She said I can try it and if I like it it's mine.
Definitely go with the king size if you ever plan to have girlfriends over.

I'm not sure what brand it is but its some locally made memory foam mattress. Helps out a lot with chronic chest pain.

Cool didn't expect so many responses.
I like to camp and stuff so sleeping on the floor with a few blankets would be cool with me, but girls generally wouldn't dig it.
Do you guys really all have king size beds?!
I have a crappy mattress but its a California King, damn thing takes up too much space, I'd rather have more room for couches and bean bags.
Hmmmm, maybe I should invest in a giant leather L couch instead? I always like sleeping on couches...

I have a seely. Cost 500.00 bucks. "Tried" out over a hundred different types of beds, and fell in love with that one. It's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo comfy.
AND it doesn't transfer motion. =]

supersoft bedding is uncomfortable and limits circulation and contorts you. it's unnatural. i concur that the floor is more comfortable than any bed you can buy, if you are healthy

I've been thinking of making a bed appreciation thread for a while
double size super thick futon
I just flipped it so I don't continue rolling into my human shaped body indentation every night
it's nice because whenever I move I can bring just the futon without the support thang and it's just comfy to sleep on it on the ground until I get around to reassembling the frame
it's also kind a pain in the ass because it is heavy as fuck
