Best Acacia Simplex soil mix...

So, I know it needs a light, well-draining seed starting mix...however, Simplex grows a lot in beach-sand, as opposed to other Acacia.
So I don't know if I should try a sandy mix...or just a light well-drained one...regardless, can anyone suggest a complete mix to use ?

When in doubt try to recreate what you know of it's natural conditions.

Any botanists willing to help? New Caledonia is a crazy place for botany, as you probably know. There are many different soil dispositions found all over the place.
For one, I'm not finding good information on A. Simplex's specific location in N.C. So, you can't just try one soil mix.
Here are two pretty good reports on NC's ecology - anyone care to lay it out?
Climate & Agro-Ecological Zones http://www.fao.org/ag/AGP/agpc/doc/Counprof/southpacific/newcaledonia.htm
Flora & Fauna http://www.summ.org/nj/nc-report/index.htm
Eh?

Look at the description of the mangrove soil. I found this when i googled "distribution of Acacia simplex"
http://www.agroforestry.net/tti/T.catappa-tropical-almond.pdf
This is about the tropical almond tree but if you read though it they mention Acacia simplex first as being a species often seen growing along side it. So as such growth requirements for the tropical almond should be similar to the Acacia.
