nice. i can't believe so many people really believe this shit.. that the true believers are going to be "raptured" and fly up towards heaven. seriously? clearly the only people who believe this nonsense are the "true believers".
but of course, when this particular predicted date of judgment day comes and goes and nothing happens the true believers are gonna chalk it up to an error in their calculations. they honestly are using math to come up with a precise date for judgment day based on some verses in the bible.
how can they possibly think you could calculate how long its been since that particular verse was spoken by whatever person/character back in the bible days? i really can't believe they think they can come up with one specific day based on the bible. I'd love to see the math they're using to come up with this result.

i don't buy into any of the 2012 stuff. imo it's nothing more than a new age marketing ploy.
on the subject of eschatology, this book, however, is great. a must read for anyone interested in this sort of cultural phenomena.

whats to believe? end of the world what the fuck are we talking about?
Its the end of civilization as we know it. We are on a crash course to destruction, mayan prophecies, revelations or not.
There's no specific timeframe. It's just gonna be real soon if we don't change shit real fast.
The facts are in front of our eyes.
First, the fake economy will collapse. Then the government will try and pretend like they are still in control Then people will realize oh shit, they are completely full of shit and we only have ourselves to depend on. then things will unfold as they do

Pretty much this.
For me I do think there is some solidity to the 2012 thing. If you really look into it there seems to be to much information from many different cultures from around the world that held much stock in the beliefs around this date.
Astrology is serious business.

I think the biggest chance of the world ending within the next two years would come from the fear of people thinking its going to end, not an actual natural phenomena of a meteor or planetary alignment or shifting magnetic poles or whatever.
Climate Change is actually occurring though and when our crops stop germinating then maybe we'll reduce CO2 emissions.
May 21st is B.S.

May 21st may be bullshit, I don't even know what you guys are talking about
But Fukushima is not bullshit. GMOs are not bullshit. Climate Change is not bullshit. Natural disasters have been increasing throughout the 20th-21st century and by all accounts will only get worse over the next few years. The shit hasn't even hit the proverbial fan yet. Are we gonna be prepared when it does? Probably not. A shitload of people are going to die more than likely.
But the end of the world? Nah. just the end of the retard era.

So long and thanks for all the fish...
I have no idea what the implications of 2012 are. As mentioned already, I like to think it is a time of change and we are on the verge of another golden age as humans. The return to a balanced, matriarchal society. Shit is hitting the fan, as usual. Its gonna get worse I think, especially for people living in the US. But the end of the world? I dont think so. The end of my world maybe. In vedic tradition, they are aware of this grand cycle just like the Mayans but no one ever said it was the end of Time, end of the universe or end of the world.
Im down for a zombie apocalypse though. I am ready for society to fall. We need a reset.

I dunno, but it'd definitely be awesome to be tripping on mushrooms at Stonehenge. Some Stone Age shit right there yo.
