2011 May Wisconsin Morels :))

Had to go with a good buddy who's been hauling them in like crazy 2.5 hrs south - but south east wisconsin is BOOMING with morels :awedance:

Giant chunky healthy greys :drooling:

Big juicy half free, and even the yellow blondes already - SE WI is pretty hot right now :awesomenod:

Took a shit ton of pics here is a few to start

These greys were quite small and all left for a few more days!!
Some were in picture perfect spots too :heart:

i love the looks of nice grey buttons :drooling:

BUT_ IF left just a couple days - you can get ALL THE BABIES AS MOSTERS LIKE THIS

My buddy spoiled me letting me fill my entire sac with a total haul of 3.5lbs just in like 2hrs in a small small place :thumbup:

about 50+ small ones were still left to get BIG!! There were also TONS of half frees

they had VERY nice caps and LOTS of stem - 2nd best size ive ever seen - but the quantity of them was :wow:

CRAZY - i found 2 damn lbs of just half frees - i got 1.5lbs of nice greys and just a few blondes :awedance:

There was one massive one my buddy found - ill look for a pic of it now
Lots of the greys had a double stem - like one inside the other more near the huge club foot bases - - - - - my buddy has snagged 13+lbs of those chunky greys over the last two weeks - - Its been his full time job :laugh:
