that people who think the internet isn't serious business have a disconnect with the seriousness of life itself and the internet being an extension of the same life.
i'm totally trolled way too much on the internet compared to real life. probably because comments are so blunt and permanent when in writing.
anyone else have that problem?
this is the 3rd time i have come back in here to be disappointed and maybe this one is the charm. i definitely can't afford to be permabanned when i use this for research.
i guess i can't expect much from people in a "pub" as normally i haven't enjoyed hanging out with drunks. time to go stand outside with a sign saying osama bin dead awhile and Pieczenik, i fool myself by thinking i can help anyone through the internet who doesn't want to be helped.

yeah i do actually, my old acquaintances don't care about my opinions or something. i told one yesterday that coke contains ammonia by way of caramel coloring and that it causes cancer. two minutes later he feels the urge to send me a message saying he's buying "two tall cans of coke." total disrespect.

fear creates fear. i have to use my focus to redirect my emotions towards more cohesion instead of falling into the troll pit.

I thought your thread about the college bubble should have been kept open.
I was actually looking forward to discussing the topic, as it relates to the current cross-roads my life is at the precipice of.

This is true. I'm being trolled like mad right now and it ain't bothering me one bit.
If someone trolls you, just ignore it. It ultimately shows whoever is trolling you has nothing better to do with their time or existence beyond alleviating boredom at your expense. Plus you can walk away from the situation knowing that you're NOT the super pathetic scum of the bunch.

I would have even settled upon doing so in the forum that it was said (by it's closer) to had been relevant in, but it was not moved and locked instead.

the use of the word conspiracy is automatically frowned upon for some reason that is beyond me. freaking naive

I usually frown upon it myself, but this time I did further reading before writing it off - and I'm glad I did.

how many parts per million is the content of the ammonia in this caramel color
http://www.foodproductdesign.com/articles/2006/12/caramel-color.aspx
Quote:
Class 4 (sulfite ammonia caramel). This type is obtained by heating carbohydrates in the presence of sulfite and ammonium compounds with or without acids or alkalis. This is the darkest of the four classifications of caramel. More caramel color is produced in this class—some 65% to 70%—than in any other class. It is included in a wide range of products, including blended whiskey, dark bread, pet food, soup and ice cream sandwiches.
Its potential downside results from its sheer concentration. Though used in lower quantities than the lighter grades, the Class 4 Caramels do contain sulfites. If sulfite concentration in the final product exceeds 10 ppm, it must be included on the product label in the United States.

the word conspiracy should send up flags of "research me" because it inherently means secrecy, but there is also a conspiracy to discredit conspiracy, so to speak. it's pretty obvious when murdoch owns all the tabloids and puts out insane stuff all the time controlling opposition. that's the only reason i could think for reporters to write those horrible articles, other than the small market of people who actually buy that crap.
it's not so much the ppm but the process by which it is made. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/green/detail?entry_id=83484

it was a simplification to say there was ammonia in it, it wasn't exactly what i meant.
i'm a raw foodist so i know that more refining of food equals less health benefits. it's like the difference between meth made with draino and meth made with human consumption safe chemicals.
to make your own soda all you need is a tube and some baking soda and vinegar, not all this synthetic stuff they use to sell their shit for cheaper.
