if you can read a shift key and enter key is not needed...although it is proper...and i do have a camera, which would prove nothing more than what i have told you. but i will post pics..just refrain from commenting on how i type, or the fact that it looks ghetto...because ...i know. i got nothing to prove

If so, you could post some better posts and get better answers.
Agreed. A picture is worth a thousand words ( or a lot fucking more here on shroomery.) And yeah, i think cutting away the pins was a bad idea but it could still be good.
Cutting away contamination is a possible step in saving a cake (or whatever) but really its a long shot.
2 weeks in the chamber? (thats pretty normal, I personally just went 2+ weeks myself without seeing pins on mine. those pins were most LIKELY good, an abort is pretty obvious, standard looking stalk (only about 1/2 inch long) with a black cap(THEY ARE EXTREMELY POTENT.)
If your getting pins, and your mycelium is reconfiguring (growing) then really you are probably good.
One of the most important things ( along with pretty much every step in your grow) is being patient. If growing mushrooms was as easy as baking a cake everyone would do it.

Coo bose. And yes, too much moisture (not humidity) can have that effect ****(only using the humidifier can be the problem as its litteraly shooting water vapor into your chamber)*****

If you knew what you were looking at well enough to describe it correctly you would not be posting.
Also, take the time to format your posts if you expect them to be read by anybody with experience.

Ok yeah, the pics help. The block looks good (aside from the bruising from the cutout.) Honestly it might still fruit if you get it back into that tub. My suggestion at this point is to look into using some perlite in the future. It's consistant, provides the humidity you need, and wont get your block wet. If you dont use the humidifier youll have to mist with a spray bottle and then fan a few times a day but using only a humidifier and a tub is a dangerous game. (most people that use only humidifiers use martha closets with bulk grows, im not very experianced in this sector but really thats the only place i find humidifers extensively used.)

Well if no one with more experience wants to help cuz your format isnt up to code..if you must use the humidifier ive heard people running them for 15-20 min every 2 or 3 hours, but fan fan fan.Since your fc has so few holes youll need to fan quite a bit for it to be able to evap properly. Id say fan b4 turning on the humidifier and when you turn it off fan again to give a boost to evaporation between humidifier cycles. Maybe if you could add more holes-this would help.

I didnt notice all the holes just saw top row. then id still fan b4 and after but i guess you will just have to see how much will evap off the block in a couple hours on its own and fan a little more or a little less.

id say fan b4 and after humidifier cycles and once between cycles if need. you dont want to do it every few min as it could then start to dry out. Its a balance...you just have to find it. as for while at work- if you can time your humidifier cycle right before you leave 30-45 min or so before you leave then fan a little to jumpstart evap..it should be fine for even 8 hours or more...i leave mine for that long and theyre still coming up. link to my grow: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/14448864
