just got back found some more and some good size ones... i knew i was right i knew the pale ones i have are subbs.. they look just like those pics...

so where in the world arre you from jp? and they were found in cow dung? man i never find any in cow shit, only horse shit.
i am heading out this weekend for sure. i want a subb find for 2011.

i live in south eastern nc got this sweet pasture down the road about 50 acres i usually find cubes there but none yet just these subbs. the weather here has been perfect. rain, hot and humid... there are no cubes there trust me no viels, blackprints, very little bluing at base of stem they r def subbs....imo black anges cows produce all kinds of mushies...i was only gone 2 hours..lol

those bluing bases i question, they look like pan cyans to me, or am i wrong?

Fantastic finds! Those are some very interesting characteristics being displayed 
Oh, and I have found many panaeolus subbalteatus collections that have completely white caps..

That find was confirmed as Panaeolus cinctulus by Workman.
