Any temp below 180F will be fine.

As for straight heat, i understand it to be around 185°C to 220°C (somewhere between 340-350F).
This question is asked all the time, and it only took me one search and 2 posts to find the answer. Next time i would recommend

No, not jet, but it seems that there is no degrading of potency noticeable, below 180F.

some would say that since the melting point of both chemicals in question is above 220f that degradation couldn't occur until then. Of course there are those other factors

340-350F seems a bit too high to me...
I dry mine at about 140-150F max. because i dont like it if they bruise. I believe that i can save some of the psilocin by doing it that way. But i dont know it for sure.

So the bruising releases the active chemicals out of the fruits? So the less bruising the more actives in the fruit? is this correct?

You know i was kinda thinking the same thing. And as has been pointed out, me being a noob means i very easily could be interpreting the information wrong.
That being said, those were the melting points posted on Erowid and several other sites, and i only assumed that it would be somewhere near that same number.
I apologize if i sounded more sure of the answer than i meant to .

NP, i also dont know the answer for sure. But i think that you dont do it wrong, if you go with temps, up to 180F. Maybe it is possible to go with much higher temps without loosing potency.

no. its not that simple.

The bruising is caused by the chemical reaction of the psilocin with oxygen and doesent affect the psilocybin.

I like them fresh too. I usually cut it into small pieces and soak in lemon juice for 30 min then take a few shots of it
