Paradox's are the best shit since bread. Yeah, better than sliced. Deal with it.
I love pondering paradox's, trying to creating my own or debating them with friends.
So. Can we have some? Some paradox's you've maybe thought of or even your favorites?
I like the buttered toast + cat. Always good for a laugh.
Most would have heard of the chicken and the egg, which I have heard debated furiously by some philosophy students...
Also the statement "this sentance is false" is a
They're even more mindboggling when you're high.

Does it have to be a paradox feasable in this universe?
Because I always find the "being hit by a car that you are riding inside of" to be trippy as fuck.

seems exactly the same as "this sentence is false"
as wiki puts it Quote:
"This sentence is false" is true, then it is false, which would in turn mean that it is actually true, but this would mean that it is false, and so on ad infinitum

In the matrix when the Oracle told Neo not to worry about breaking the vase, then the vase broke. Then she said if she never had mentioned the vase, would it still have broken.
People who predict the future in general. Do things come true only because they occurred in reaction to the prediction? If the prediction was never made, would it ever have happened?
I thought of an instance that relates to 2012.
What if the world does end in 2012, because on December 21, 2012, every single human being goes crazy in a panic because they fear that the world is going to end, and in this panic, they end up annihilating themselves because they thought the world was going to be destroyed. But the world in fact would never have been destroyed if they had never panicked, which never would have happened if no one predicted that the world would end on December 21, 2012.

There would have to be a physical event to start the choas though. No one is just going to wake up 21 december 2012 and be like OH FUCK RUN, KILL YOURSELVES. Just because someone predicted that would be the end date.

[A man condemned to be hanged] was sentenced on Saturday. "The hanging will take place at noon," said the judge to the prisoner, "on one of the seven days of next week. But you will not know which day it is until you are so informed on the morning of the day of the hanging."
The judge was known to be a man who always kept his word. The prisoner, accompanied by his lawyer, went back to his cell. As soon as the two men were alone, the lawyer broke into a grin. "Don't you see?" he exclaimed. "The judge's sentence cannot possibly be carried out."
"I don't see," said the prisoner.
"Let me explain They obviously can't hang you next Saturday. Saturday is the last day of the week. On Friday afternoon you would still be alive and you would know with absolute certainty that the hanging would be on Saturday. You would know this before you were told so on Saturday morning. That would violate the judge's decree."
"True," said the prisoner.
"Saturday, then is positively ruled out," continued the lawyer. "This leaves Friday as the last day they can hang you. But they can't hang you on Friday because by Thursday only two days would remain: Friday and Saturday. Since Saturday is not a possible day, the hanging would have to be on Friday. Your knowledge of that fact would violate the judge's decree again. So Friday is out. This leaves Thursday as the last possible day. But Thursday is out because if you're alive Wednesday afternoon, you'll know that Thursday is to be the day."
"I get it," said the prisoner, who was beginning to feel much better. "In exactly the same way I can rule out Wednesday, Tuesday and Monday. That leaves only tomorrow. But they can't hang me tomorrow because I know it today!"
... He is convinced, by what appears to be unimpeachable logic, that he cannot be hanged without contradicting the conditions specified in his sentence. Then on Thursday morning, to his great surprise, the hangman arrives. Clearly he did not expect him. What is more surprising, the judge's decree is now seen to be perfectly correctly. The sentence can be carried out exactly as stated.

gravity slows down time.. so theirfore.. if you were to fall into a black hole then you would be frozen in time.. taking it as thats far as the black holes force is. nobody knows.. but if the force is grater than never ending then... i dont know lol would time reverse after reaching a certain point in gravitational force? thats the only conclusion that would make sense.
i got one though.. a Tachyon.. a particle moves faster than the speed of light.. if you wiki it. it shows you of what it would look like if your able to see it passing by.. but.. how would you even see it pass by because wouldnt breaking the speed of light mean your traveling back into the past? fuck this universe lol
