They woke up on the floor with a small bump on their head, and there were things on the floor they had knocked over on the way down. It's not likely that they were out for more than a few seconds. I'm going to say that they were probably tired, dehydrated, and hungry, and that it wasn't serotonin syndrome.
wow i hope your fucking kidding me.

I've fainted on mushrooms twice, and come to think of it, both times it was almost directly after smoking some keif from the lid of my coffee grinder

I'm taking two prescribed SSRI since a couple of years, and like others members wrote it's not wise to add mushrooms to the mix. In my case, I started with very low mushrooms dosage and raised it very slowly over several months until I found the kind of effects that I like.
So, for me it's safe to take mushrooms with SSRI if you take a responsible approach.

He hadn't been sitting, and he was walking when he fainted.

I know him really well so I can trust him, at least as much as his memory is reliable. He took 17 grams fresh ovoids, prepared in hot water with 2000mg vitamin C and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. It was enough to cause dim closed eye visuals and melting of objects.

Here's a question....I take Lexapro, but barely. I maybe take 1-20mg, every 4-5 days. Its weird, but it seems thats all the more I need it. Im not even sure it effects me at this point honestly. Other than sometimes I feel the light headed withdrawal symptoms and I take one. Weird? I know. I take shrooms in small amounts every now and again. Mainly only like 3-4 times a year, and in doses of no more than 2-2.5 dried grams. That's what it seems like it takes me to trip. The first time I achieved visuals was last year, on cubes that I had grown. This year, i began hunting ovoids, and ate 1.5 dried grams, I got some closed eyed visuals, and a tingly happy stone, but no open eyed visuals to speak of. It was a nice level 1 experience. However, Im looking to achieve a Level 2 off ovoids, so Im thinking on trying a tea method with slightly more dired grams. So here's the question, should I basically quit taking the Lexapro all together? Do you think it even has an effect being taken this way? And do you think I have a serious risk of Seratonin Syndrome? Just curious as to what some have to say on the matter. Thanks in advance.

Not all SSRIs act exactly the same way on the brain, so you can't compare an experience with Zoloft to Lexapro. I haven't seen any hard evidence that serotonin syndrome can be caused by mixing SSRIs and psilocybin. Lexapro should be out of your system in 6-8 days, and halved within 32 hours. You need to take it regularly in order for it to work properly.

Thanks very much Hygro, I appreciate the answer. I was almost sure it wasnt much more than placebo effect any longer. Thanks, now I know this, Im just gonna let it subside, no point in draggin it out. Like I say, I dont think it does anything for me. Whereas xanax works wonders for me. Thank you for a very informative answer.

Careful, careful - cold turkey can result in temporary mental breakdowns. Its quite a jump for the mind. That said, your dosage was negligible, so you should be fine.

I think that SSRI's are good to a point and may be helpful short term, but like any medication, ya get side effects.
