number 1 is what you want, looks like a sub to me. Take the pic and description for number 1 over the the ID section to the OK from the pros before you consume it.
all the rest are the most common look alikes. seeing them everywhere right now

Your first species look to be Psilocybe subaeruginosa
I would guess Galerina for species 2 and Inocybe for species 3.

that one is active panaeolus cinctulus aka panaeolus subbalteatus. panaeolus foeinsecii are the inactive ones which look extremely similair and are way more common. those are probably the ones you have seen before

I found a couple in some pine/eucalypt/bracken fern area last week. I have been finding em where there is abit of water nearby, Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Well I just came back from being out down south...
Total count was 85 Subs, about 10 milky caps.
Verdict.
NOT WORTH GOING, WAY TOO EARLY If I go a month from now i'll get thousands.
Still great to be out and about though I'll upload some pics when I can be bothered editing them.

Greetings all,
been hunting a whole lot lately. managed to get out to a "guy I know"'s property yesterday to go wild amongst the bracken fern and broome. Found a small amount of actives but failed to photograph them as i was more interested in other species present.
An ID for the following would be great, haven't got the physical energy to search specifically right now :P

Also went on a hunt today through a pine forest which i've never been to before, sure was interesting. Not one single active was found which made me laugh but it was beautiful walking through the forests after it had rained.....Right up until I found this:

Not sure if you can see it or not but the head is on a 90 degree angle like, it's twisted completely back inline with it's spine....this just did my head in and in true creepy fashion i came across two more random skulls and a pile of large bones haha

Found this fella near my patch the other day too, friendly as anything, he's a pats whore and does anything for carrots, including guarding the patch :P

And a couple more random photos from along the journey.

Happy hunting and peace everyone.
