Does this look like a pin or just a peice of the substrate sticking out. This is my first grow ever so I'm not sure.

could be a pin or could be mullet... looks like you did WBS spawn, so I'd wait a couple days and check again

I am not a trusted cultivater but IMHO I believe I see some pins in there even though the pic is kinda blurry, I would have to say that I at least see some primordia, again a noob myself there be sure to fan em especially if you dont have holes in your tub and mist when it looks dry good grow buddy!

Your exactly right. Wbs spawned to coir, verm and gypsum. And the setup is just a bulk tray inside a fc. The fc does have holes in it on all six sides. And thanks babz. I fan about 3 to 5 times a day. Well mist then fan.

Just make sure you don't give it too much love... it does look a little damp in there

probably a little... Mist when you notice the sub starting to dry a bit... remember the evaporation of water off the substrate is the main pinning trigger. I'd probably take it back to misting once a day. Then mist again throughout the day if you notice it starting to "look" dry.

you only mist to replace moisture that has evaporated from your substrate.
your substrate will provide it's own humidity as long as you replace the water in it.
misting for humidity causes a mindset that tends to over mist.
but you know, thats just like, my opinion,, man.

It looks very moist. I wouldn't mist until it looks like its starting to dry out. Looks like the oatmeal I ate this morning hehe

Lol yea. I'm gonna slow down on the misting. This is my first grow ever. I skipped the pf tek and went straight to grains. I started some cakes but they took to long so I went ahead and started grains. So I'm probably a little mist happy, but thanks for all the comments I know now to slow down a bit. Ill keep updating the forum to let you guys know how it turns out.

Looks like you got some sound advice hope to see pics soon I was too scared and without a PC to do grains the thingy you do to sterilize grains without a PC looked VERY time consuming.
