Pedro is pale green

So I've had these pedros for a few months. They are in the sun, which is intense because I live at about 7500 feet above sea level. They live in a dry climate, so I water them every 3 or 4 days, and the skin has a pale green color? I feel like they should be a darker green. Does anybody know why?

Etiolation (paling) can occur from too little light, or too much. You pretty much answered your own question, as did everyone else...too much light.

Thank you all. I thought this might be the case. I moved it out of direct sunlight.

I have never seen yellowing caused only from to much direct sun. From my experience the yellowing is caused by lack of nutrients and water and this is made worse when they are in direct sun. If the plant is in good potting mix that is wetting all the way through when watered I would give it a dose of a seaweed solution and then in a week or so give it a feed or half strength liquid fertilizer.Give it another dose of seaweed solution in another week or so.
The yellowing normally wont revert back to green but the new growth should be nice and green. During our summer all of my trichs that are in pots get watered every two days. I did try watering twice a week but they showed signs of dehydration after only a couple of weeks. This is only for well rooted plants if it is still forming roots you will have to wait and keep it out of midday/afternoon sun.
If your plants are getting sun burnt you will need to acclimatise them over a period of time but sun burn is very different to yellowing. If the whole plant is yellow not just the tip or one side and you dont more them around alot It wont be sunburn.
Cheers Got
