By fast-food standards, there is no contest. In-N-Out uses real ingredients, everybody else uses flavored grease sponges. It's the difference between fake food and real food. The thought of eating Burger King or McDonald's makes me sick, the thought of eating In-N-Out makes me hungry. Hell, eating McEtc. makes me feel sick, eating In-N-Out makes me feel satisfied.
In-N-Out can't compete with local joints or with home cooking, though.

The closest In-N-Out to me is like 10 miles away but seeing this thread in my threads list over and over again is tempting me to go there

I don't really care for there fries. The burgers animal style are good. Right there with Dairy Queen in my opinion, maybe better.
In the last 10 years I guess I have only had in n out once and that was last summer. Used to live within walking distance so I ate the shit out of it before.
Get your self a 3x3 animal style and feel that belly expand.

In and Out sucks so hard. One, they rarely ever cook the burger all the way anymore at the locations I go to, the wait is long, you can see them making the burgers when you drive up, and the people making them have these plastic gloves they're supposed to use. It seems completely random that they actually use them, but the worst problem is these asshats will wipe their hands on their clothes before handling your food, right in front of you. Yeah, tasty.
The animal fries are also disgusting if you don't like relish and thousand island dressing mixed on top of cheese fries. You've been warned.

It's good but I wouldn't wait in line for more than 5 mins for in-n-out. It's all just hype and nostalgia, I've eaten there many times and it's just meh. The ones in my town are always packed too, but only inside there is never a line around the block. Every person in that line was a rube. You want a better burger go to any real restaurant......... they have bacon and beer.

Fuck you haters, In n Out beats all other fast food no contest. Yes, you can see them making the food from scratch in front of you! Instead of watching them put it into a microwave... I'd rather have some fool wipe his hands on his apron while making my food than have a "burger" thats been walked on by rats while being shipped across country.

But it's still just 3-4 types or burgers and some fries it's not even better than the wafflehouse.

No. People are just really that fucking stupid, depressingly sheeple, and overly eager to join a single file line.
It's a god damned hamburger. Fuck humanity.

I certainly wouldn't wait in a line that long for In-N-Out. In fact, the last time I went there the line went out the door, so I went somewhere else

I didn't eat at In-N-Out until I was a senior in high school. I boycotted it because they have bible verses on the cups and wrappers. I finally broke down because they were giving out free burgers out of their truck at my school. Ever since that day I've been addicted. I like to get the double double animal style with animal fries

I've never had a problem with the Bible references. Those Christians make a damn fine burger and that's what counts when I'm buying a burger
