Some strains are uniform, some are sporadic, why?

A long time ago when I was more involved in this hobby, I noticed characteristics between strains that I never really understood. The main one I was wondering about was pinsets and fruiting characteristics. I noticed when growing Koh Samui or EQ's, they would form here and there, or in little clusters. But when I would grow Amazonian, Hawaiian, B+, the pinsets were extremely dense and uniform, these things took up every square inch of the casing and when they matured it was like a forest. What I'm trying to understand is, are these just characteristics related to that particular strain and that's the way it is OR are those strains just not as forgiving and you have to really know what you're doing to get pinsets and flushes like I did w. the other strains?

know what you're doing to get GOOD pinsets and GOODflushes

your dealing with multispore genetics

an isolate or clone is what you want for uniform pins
or a ton of luck .
