RR's Rye Tek Dry Grains? bout to inoc

I just followed RR's tek with rye...rinse real good, soak for 24 hours, boil for 10mins and let steam dry and fill qt. jars with it/pressure cook for 90mins @15psi with aluminum foil on the tops. I tried this before and when i inocd i thought they looked pretty dry but i inocd anyways and they barely even germinated they were so dry. Only one of them made it barely and it took forever. I tossed the other out because it was too dry.
I have these jars sitting ready to be inocd as i type...waiting for opinions as if they are too dry or not so i dont waste any spores. Some more moist grains are on the bottom of one of the jars but in the middle areas they are really dry

Im about to just rinse some rye and load it in some jars 1/3, add water, and pressure cook like the oldschool way.

you have burst kernels in there, I'd say your moisture content is right on... Make sure to shake grain jars after PCing before inoculating w/ MS or LCs...
