does anyone ever feel this way about the psychedelic experience thread?

person #1: "so i tripped the other day, here is my report, took some lsd etc." person #2: "so how was the trip, can you even describe it?"
actual trip:
person #1: "yeah, some visuals and shit, intense inner discovery. could have lasted longer. oh well next time i'll double the dose"

does anyone ever just come into that forum and just say "Holy shit, i was so FUCKED UP, seeing SO much shit! how is it POSSIBLE!" somehow they always turn their trip into a discussion or whatever. which is cool, but still i've had trips where trees were melting and i was seeing people that weren't there and i felt like i was going to fall upside down into the sky and couldn't possibly describe it. anyone can relate? that forum is cool, but is too much for me sometimes to be able to tale of just being unbelievably fucked up and turn it into a description.

All of my trips of the past few years are attached to ghosts for some reason.

What exactly are you yapping about? How psychedelic trips are hard to describe with words? Well, yeah.

i think detailed and articulate trip reports help people who haven't experienced something know a little bit of what to expect. but i do agree that ultimately, the psychedelic experience is ineffable.

Yeah, my descriptions of trips always fail to actually describe the experience, which usually consists of my mind feeling like it's been turned into scrambled eggs in 5 different ways that you can't relate to unless you've felt it yourself.

I sure as hell can't write a trip reports. If I tried it would be a couple very short sentences.
Shit was whack. Think I fell down a couple times. Kept losing time, or was I gaining time.

My first trip report was pretty much just glossed over. My second one (the "epic" report in my sig") I felt like I described the meat of the trip, but it's kinda lengthy. It took a lot, and it mostly focused on the later, shitty half where I took a dump on a picnic table.

It seems to me at high doses that mushrooms dissolve our innate habituation of making concepts out of everything-language itself being one among many. Maybe psychedelics are difficult to describe because they are outside language and conceptual frameworks.

I had to favorite this video. I love it.
I have never been able to write trip reports. They are either a few short sentences or they start to turn into a novel. I can get frustrated trying to describe certain aspects that are indescribable,so I dont even attempt them anymore. I do like reading the well written ones though.

I don't write down reports for most of my trips these days, though occasionally they're so remarkable I feel like I HAVE to share with people that I just tripped nuts.
But yeah it's always like "DUDE THE COLORS! AND THE SHAPES MAN! DUDE IT WAS SO COMPLICATED! "
Oftentimes there's really not much to say. The act of writing terminates the act of tripping IMO.

The best parts of my trips are unexplainable, like the next day if someone asks how it went I fumble with my words for a minute and usually just sigh, then try to explain and just end up saying what I did while tripping.
