once u mastered the brf and got it down the move right to bird seed and use it for spaw. or u could birth it also and spread it out in like a tin pan and case it then but brf is just a steping stone for a person to learn the ins and outs of what u r really doin

Do this:
Fool Proof Birdseed Tek
Be sure to shake the jars as soon as the pressure on the cooker equalizes.

After the birdseed colonizes mix the colonized birdseed 2:1 with moist sterile vermiculite and case with 50/50 (or whatever you prefer). Using this method I usually yield about one dry ounce per quart jar.

Pics of Shrooms Growing using this method.

? on the fool proof bird seed tek, as opposed to a hole with a polyfill in the lid of the jar ( i believe thats what it look'd like), would a piece of tin foil covering the top of the jar with the lid screwed down on top work just as affective?

People use polyfill because it allows for gas exchange, so no, you wouldn't want to use tin foil... not to mention that it would tear quite easily, leaving you with contaminated jars.

sounds good, one last question, the polyfill doesn't get wet when in the PC? the ex's rabbit usually has heavy condensation on the top of most jars....

Use tin foil while it is in the PC. Just take it off after the jars are cool.

Go to the post office and ask for tyvek envelopes. Or get them here.

ok now correct me if i'm wrong, i just want to clarify one last thing, when they're nice and cooled after PC'd, open em up, inject (the rabbits using lyquid mycelium), then cover with tyvek and screw the lid back on... no glove box in the rabbit hole, seems a bit scary, would you recommend use'n the oven?

Poke two 1/8' holes in the metal lid and put the tyvek on top of the lid but under the band before you PC. Then just inject threw one of the holes and cover the hole from the syringe with a small piece of tape.

Yes over. Take off the foil after you PC the jars.

Spawn dung with WBS. You won't be disappointed. You can also use dung/WBS in jars, but WBS colonizes much quicker by itself. If you spawn dung with it, you get the advantage of the potency this mix provides.

Is there anything that will work itself into a solid brick other than BRF? I'm looking for something that will hold together as well or almost as well as colonized BRF.

If nothing else holds together as well, is there anything I can add to a BRF mixture that will make it "better" (faster colonizing, more potent, greater yields, etc.) but still have the holding-together properties of BRF because BRF is the main ingredient?
