First LSD trip advice

I was hoping I could get some advice from you guys as to whether or not this would be a good time to do LSD based on your past experiences - but of course we all react differently.
I have the opportunity to embark on my first LSD trip this weekend with my best friend at his college. We would be tripping at a botanical garden, which sounds really nice to me since of course I love nature. The main issue is that besides tripping with my best friend, I'll be with 3 or 4 of his other guy friends that I don't know. I'm not antisocial at least while sober, but for example the first time I smoked cannabis I curled up into a ball and retreated from a group of friends (that I wasn't that close with) and wasn't in a good headspace for the entire trip. The area is unfamiliar to me so for the part of the trip we are outside of the gardens I might be walking around the streets or campus.
Unfortunately or not, I've never tripped outside. Almost all my trips have been indoors and alone blasting my favorite music in the comfort of my own home. I just finished up my finals so it was a hellish week and I'm overall disappointed with the way things have been going lately - an issue that may come up while tripping. I'd prefer to distress with some mdma or opiates but the group has already planned the trip and everything and I wanted to be a part if possible.
Should I consider a better headspace for my first LSD trip or should I wing it with a low dose, do my best to cope with any anxiety and try to learn from it?

Since you have tripped before (a number of times I assume?) I think you should be okay, as long as you take a medium-low dose. Being outside will be great, just remember that being with strangers can be slightly uncomfortable.
On a low dose, anxiety shouldn't be too much of an issue, just be prepared with an escape plan in case it does get rough. If things take a bad turn, you'll likely want a change of scenery. However, that is all a worst case scenario, I would go for it!
Have a good time

This is good advice. Also just know that it'll be awesome. The best way to have an awesome trip I find is to just belive that it will be good. Try not to worry or over think it just let stuff happen and understand that there's nothing wrong or bad happening just accept what is for the time being. But if you find yourself having negative thoughts when the time gets near perhaps it would be best to wait for another time

Remember to take your music with you, if possible!
