Hello,
I have a SGFC with 2 small containers and then 2 smaller containers. The container with the EQ seems to be bruising and has been for about 4 days now. Im not sure why, as the other containers are starting to as well.
This is what I have my setup as:
Temp: Room temp ( 76-79 ) Humidity: ( im not sure but what I have been doing is 4 times a day I hav been misting them from up high and letting drops fall. Then i mist the sides of the wall of the SGFC, I then proceed to fan for about 30secs to a minute. Then I mist the top of the lid as well. Lighting: I have the bin about 2 feet off the ground on crates, and there is a window right beside it that gets some light when the blinds are open partially, also there is a Light right above it on the ceiling which is a room light.
The fruits seem to be fruiting perfectly fine and actually I have a crap ton of pins. I just dont understand why the bulk sub keeps staying bruised, or bluish.
Suggestions are Welcome.

This pic as taken yesterday and has been identified as bruising.

Yes mist more often try to get the humidity up.If those were mine I'd take them out of those plastic containers and put them on a rack and fruit them like a cake also how much perlite do you have in your FC,you should have 4" I'd also try to stay away from the temps in the 79 range

Also a thing to note when I had the perilite damped I waited for the water to drain out of the bottom thru the holes. Thats fine right?

Tinfoil will work just make sure its the same size as the cake so water from misting won't pool on it

Once you've taken your first flush you should "dunk" it, i.e. submerge in water for around 12 hours to re-hydrate it (preferably in a fridge). It makes hell of a difference to fruiting!
Once "dunked" pat dry lightly with some kitchen paper. It may not remove the bluing (in my experience) but it will be beneficial!
