Not oysters
    #14440892 - 05/12/11 04:28 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

Can you help me identify this mushroom? I am traveling and only have my mushroom hunter book and no field guide. I found in Springfield Massachusetts, on dead hardwoods. They were growing singularly and in clumps. This is the biggest clump.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah.  They're edible if you get to them before they get tough.
