Sooo basically thread title is misleading - its not that he wouldn't go after him at all (which is how people portray it) - its more that he would've gone about it differently.
Unfortunately its not how they'll play it off

So hes too "hokey" for you?
If you ask me our current presidents and officials are pretty fuckin "hokey". Why not try something new? "god" knows we need it.
And yet you say if more politicians were like him we would be better off??
So, What are you trying to say again?

Do you realize that Republican party members don't get to vote on who gets nominated to run for President? "The people" will never decide if Ron Paul gets to run. And congressionally appointed delegates won't, because they're all neoconservatives who love the prison- and military-industrial complex.

Really? I remember voting in a primary for Ron Paul pretty distinctly.... But by the same argument, we don't really vote for the president either...

It's a pressing question - what do you or anyone get out of your questioning authority if you don't have any actual ideas for how to change things aside from aping the hollow populism of career politicians?

You heard that they found Osama's "Diary"? If Osama Bin Laden was really a genius, in the middle of his I HATE AMERICAN rants in his diary, he should have written a page like:
Quote:
Dear Diary, Today I got my period and it gym class we had to play softball in the white uniforms. HIGH SCHOOL SUCKS! Love you, Osama

Pretty sure you remembered wrong. Candidates are nominated by delegates. It doesn't go up for popular vote with the Republican party, only with the Democratic party.

Everybody should question authority and I question your sanity if you don't. It's kind of hard for one man like Deadhearts to actually do anything about the current sad state of the world but these lyrics are a great example of what must happen before anything changes:
"And the men who hold high places Must be the ones who start To mould a new reality Closer to the Heart Closer to the Heart"

I just don't think that "questioning authority" and "aping the hollow populism of career politicians" are the same thing.
