Ohh shit I didn't even notice you are the fine fellow who I was pming last week. Good work, that's going to make an amazing isolate Use the biggest one you can find to clone! They all appear to be of adequate potency

sometimes a fruit can contain more than one single strain;
so even when putting the inner tissue of the fruit on agar sectoring can appear.
so, to answer your question, its possible that you need to do a transfer or two.

its not a problem. its just a sign that the culture you placed onto your agar is actually made up of more than on strain.

Luger0815 said: Thank you, but what is the problem with sectoring?
nothing at all.
it just shows you that it is not a pure strain.
basically, if you propagate the mycelium of your fruit on agar and inoculate rye or whatever with it,
it is possible that you will still get fruits that dont look like each other;
so no real clone.
