do we deserve the end of the world? 1

I'm not really into the whole end of the world talk that many of you dig. I've already lived through several supposed "ends of the world" with no noticed ill effects. That having been said, I often think that humanity might deserve it. Today I encounter a new such example that has lead me to believe that a good sized majority of us have it coming.
for your pleasure I submit:
its another one of those restricted fucks, so you'll just have to follow the link to youtube if you want to see the degradation.

more JonBenét Ramsey clones...just another of the millions of reasons it will all be better when we are long gone.
...didn't have to go to youtube to watch it though.

I wasn't able to watch the video, but...
I completely agree that the majority of humanity deserves to be ended. The human race has always been pretty bad, constantly making the same mistakes over, and over, and over.
With all the technological advances in the past 200 years, we have slowly been breeding ignorance and a major lack of appreciation for even the simplest of things in our lives that allow us to live.
It's getting to the point where it takes a huge catastrophe(whether it be a natural disaster, or a relative/close friend dying, etc.) to get us to pay attention to what really matters in life.

how are you using this comment?or which way do you mean it is where I am getting at.....we would be the bees in this situation, but have done far more than just stinging anything.
you could go as far as saying we are fucking everything up to pave the way for whatever will replace it all/us all...whatever

lol, stop watching weird ass videos and you won't think the world deserves to end. i think the world can be a beautiful place. in a way, i do hope for some fucked up shit to happen to america though. Like, just a bad growing pain that forces everybody to evolve some, and make this a better place to live. Cause seriously, america's problem is that everybody lives in a comfortable bubble and is hypnotized into thinking the pains of the world can be put off until later. It'd probably be intense for me also, so sorta scary to think about. but shit, i just feel like it's high time for something like that...sorry if i'm being vague

I understand...it would be a little silly to hope for an end..just easier to say it on a rough day....I personally believe that if a little ignorance could be lifted from certain areas,we could stand a chance for a while longer than what we would get with our current path...the US does need to get on board and realize it isn't immortal though...not to say europeans have it all straight either, just not as much influence it seems.
if the biggest players citizens can't open their eyes a bit, everyone is fucked...and I can accept that as well.

You know, I typed up a few different replies to this query. None of them felt right. If you wish to focus on these negative aspects and add a reactive energy to it all (eg: someone is doing something stupid and you add frustration energy) then you will continue to feed this old destructive energy force hovering over the atmosphere. Instead, I advise you bring into fruition the beauty within your beautiful self and expand on that.
Let the skin be shed. It will not be easy but it is simple.

it's easy to be vague when there are millions of reasons why. Ive been feeling this since i was young and at some point on my spiritual path i had this feeling that i was being groomed. All the gifts i have received on my journey are also tools of preparedness for a time that i feel is close at hand. It's easy to wish i were born in another time or another place but if i can say that things happen for a reason about anything my existence in this time is it. We are on the cusp of something horridly profound and amazing in a make or break kind of time and it's exciting and frustrating to no end. I had this thought the other day, "when animals act like people it's cute, but when people act like animals it's dangerous" i found it relevant to the subject matter.

I wish for a zombie outbreak everyday, my case of 3.5in 00 buckshot would rip those fuckers in half.
But I don't think humanity deserves an apocolypse anymore than dinosaurs deserved the asteroid. The cosmos just don't give a fuck.

lol yeah, whatever happens happens. But if we can help it, and prevent it, I think we should. What a waste it would be to just throw away millions of years of evolution! That seems to be the purpose of life, to live and to grow. And how bout to love and to grow in that love? This is a very exciting time if you ask me! We are already very powerful beings as it is and are capable of so much, I can hardly imagine what our future might hold. I for one believe that we are meant for so much more, and that we will get there, if we give ourselves a chance.
A decentralized uncensored internet is the first step. If we cannot create that for at least the majority of this planet's population, and sustain it, then we might not stand a chance. Ignorance, greed, and lack of awareness will slowly tear this planet apart.

All we are, is one intelligent, conscious species living on a little green and blue ball floating around in a gigantic universe that we can't even fathom of how large it is. However, when we have that perspective, it's easy to see why it might not matter if humanity was destroyed.
But, there's so much that we could accomplish with our ever-advancing technology in just the next 100 years.
Life is just too damn interesting to wipe out.
Technology can always be used for the betterment of mankind or to destroy us.
I think the majority of educated people realize that we have too much potential to throw it all away, and so I don't think that humanity will destroy itself, much less that we're deserving of it. In fact, I think the exact opposite is true. If we're the only species to have evolved this far, we should take advantage of it fully and improve life as much as possible, not destroy it.
-------------------- "As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear headed science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much: There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter." --Max Planck

The real and important question here is-
Do -You-, Yourelf, deserve the end of the World?

i rather not think of such things, if it comes, it comes, what can we do about it?
btw i doubt the world will ever come to end, as long as the sun stands it will stay. if anything it is OUR world that will come to an end, the earth will keep on living imo.

We all do. Although some are afraid of it, and others look forward to it.
Personally, I'm looking forward to dying. It will be interesting to see if there is anything after this life or not. And whatever there is or isn't, I'm totally cool with. People value their lives way too much. I mean come on, we're all going to die eventually, get over it and accept it. What else are you going to do, cry and whine?
