[P subaeruginosa] *** NEW BATCH - Indentification needed :) ***
#14438256 - 05/12/11 01:18 AM (12 years, 9 months ago) |

Habitat: Grows around wood pieces or tan bark around a few bushes/small trees in my front yard. I come from Victoria, just about 20km north of Melbourne CBD.
Spore print color: It looks kind of black or extremely dark brown, i think it has a tiny hint of extremely dark violet/blue/purple, but i fair it may be my head trying to make it look like it's subaeruginosa haha.
Bruising: No apparent brusing as of yet, but will keep you fellas updated!

Other information: It smells like normal mushrooms.
Will keep you guys updated if i find out anything new!

Don't think they're subs. At least not the one with the orange cap

I am fairly certain you don't have anything active - thought they are kind of intriguing. The caps are extremely viscid and the gills are way too light colored. Plus the spore prints sound off - and you would have seen bruising by now..

The orange one is Leratiomyces ceres but the other three could possibly be subs... they're too waterlogged to tell. I would stay on the safe side and chuck them. Post some more pics if they come up in this spot again.

I think they are subs myself. OP should go back to he you found them and pick some more, then let them dry out a bit and post better pics.
