Well, all the laws that govern nature on earth apply elsewhere in the universe...so yeah i would assume life is just as unfair in other pats of the universe.
I mean, good and bad are just terms for behavior that some groups of matter exhibit. Some planets are warmer, and some are cooler. If we labeled the hotter ones "good" and the cooler ones "bad", no matter how hot or cold they are they're just as likely to be struck by a massive asteroid that'll scar the planet.

I dont get it, bad things happening to good people makes the world unfair!?!??! if anything that balances out the equation of life, bad things need to happen to good people, just as good things need to happen to bad people, it reminds us of shit we try so hard to forget.

One side of that is bad people look at it like the good ones are the easiest to fuck with. They take niceness for weakness and will take advantage of it as much as they can. These pieces of shit have nothing else going for them but their ability to take advantage of someone who is genuine. That's what makes them the garbage that they are.
Put them in with a batch of their own kind, or someone hip to what they are all about and they are nothing. I've seen first hand and experienced it, learned the hard way. At least I know now that nobody is ever using my kindness against me again.

Why does the fact that bad things happen to both good and bad people mean that there is no god? maybe there is a god, and though he loves us, it is not his place to intervene and protect us? maybe (probably) he isnt a conscious being and just a word used to describe the perfect system that is all around us and in us. I say its perfect because it has aligned itself perfectly to bring us the reality we are experiencing at this moment.
we dont know what laws god is bound by or what he is.

I heard that Karma is actually just a word used to describe the system of back and forth between good and bad things, and its original meaning had no bearings on fairness. Like, the buddhist "karma" has nothing at all to do with fairness. Its just a word to describe the system of distribution for good and bad luck which is random and chaotic and in no way reflected by the good or bad actions of people.
can anyone verify this?

IMO, nobody is intrinsically good or bad. Most everybody thinks they're doing the right thing, that's why they do it. People you regard as good, honest, or sincere might be mislead by their ideological beliefs and actually be involved in detrimental activity, either to others or to themselves. Accordingly, the reason "bad things" happen is because people, on an individual and/or mass scale, need to learn. In a sense, when "bad things happen" that's how Reality, The Universe, Nature, God - whatever you want to call it - lets you and others know that something in particular needs to be addressed and evolve/change.
Take for example all the bad things that happen because of the War on Drugs: high incarceration rates, overdoses, violence, corruption, ignorance...ect. All of these "bad things" happen because we're handling the "problem of illicit drug abuse" in a way that is detrimental. The people this War on Drugs victimizes don't necessarily deserve it, but people at-large won't learn until the consequences become apparent and can no longer be ignored.

The universe is always unfolding exactly as it should. I can make my own assumptions as to why bad things happen to (what is good or bad?) good people, but I don't really know why. I just realize that everything that happens to me is either a consequence of my actions, or a part of something much larger that I don't necessarily understand. I try to be content regardless of pain, happiness, joy, loss, gain. I am constantly trying to embrace what is instead of what should be.
