bitterless cactus isnt hitting me!!!
    #14436440 - 05/11/11 07:07 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

so i got a cactus that was being sold at happy herb store it was with the san pedros but the lady said it was something else and that its stronger than san pedro, from pictures and another thread i was lead to beleive it was a peruvian torch

so a few hours ago i mushed up 7-9 inches with water untill it was a chewed up consistency and then chugged it all down....

what worries me is it wasnt bitter it just tasted like nothing (maybe slightly like aloe vera, but more like nothing)

so am i gonna be dead?

i don't feel sick or anything (maybe a few butterflys in ma tum tum, but just because i'm a bit nervous about what i have eaten)

I thought people usually eat a good 12-24inches of cacti.
Maybe you dosed too low?
Not entirely sure, cacti isnt my area of expertise

i know it was a low dose, but youd expect something to happen... like, a little bit of weird feeling and closed eye visuals....

You didn't boil it down?  I know its bitter when you concentrate it.  You should feel something I'd say with 9 inches if it was a good torch.

Yeah, that's messed up. Even if she wasn't screwing you on purpose, she needs to know that the plant was bad in case she mislabeled it or is misidentifying it. How can you sell herbs and stuff to people if you sell an inactive to someone...if it's more active than pedro, then you should have felt something I think.
