PNW Cyans? ID help
    #14434528 - 05/11/11 11:52 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

Portland Oregon elevation 900 ft
Found in barkchips exposed to the sun. Moist soil. probably a 70/30% chip to soil ratio?

Some of the shrooms are in bad shape should I dispose of them? Pretty much all brown and mushy

Stems arn't showing signs of bruising I don't think. Maybe brown if any. the stems are an off white/brown

Some of them I think I threw in a picture have a very much circular shape in comparison. Is that just them being young and haven't started the waving yet?

Pictures are about 1 hour after they were picked.

Got any quick links on how to take a spore print? also how should I be storing these right now?

the circular ones:

Agrocybe praecox most likely. They pop up IN FORCE this time every year in pdx.

Hah thanks man. the day earlier I was on 4 hits of acid and occasionally enjoy exploring my near by forest and look around for shrooms and talk to the birds, trees etc. No real intentions then the next day, today I did a double take and decided to give it a shot. I've never picked a single mushroom out of the ground. I've always been a lsd guy.

appreciate the link though
