Mycelium won't pin at the top

Hi Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place first time posting instead of lurking
So I build a terrarium for my mycelium to fruit. The thing is, when I pulled out my mycelium it broke in three big parts. After dunking and putting verm on it I put it in there. there was no pining at all for like three weeks ... I then tried to dunk it again and cold shock to induce pinning. When dunkin I saw one shrooms growing on the underside and 1 pin.
So I flipped it and again applied verm. No the little pin is growing now but nothing else is pinning
I found 2 small pins on the side, but again on the bottom ... Why won't they pin at the top ? My humidity is good I guess, I fan it three times a day ( don't have more time because of work) and spray it with water.

Thanks

Uhh i wouldn't recommened breaking up cakes but ok. They don't need to pin at the top. Some of my cakes pin at the bottom, some pin on the side, pins are pins. if theyre cubes they don't need to be cold shocked btw, and its best to keep cakes WHOLE.

You don't have any holes drilled.
-------------------- You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?

Yeah whats with that? You should make a shotgun FC RR style cause i doubt they're getting the FAE they need. There needs to be holes drilled at the bottom too for the air to carry the water from the perlite into the air in thechamber, otherwise its just wet perlite sitting there doing nothing. You should review the lets grow mushrooms pf tek by RR on youtube very thoroughly.

Yeah it was one big chunk but it broke, some said it is "healing" and takes longer now
I do have holes drilled on the sides but not at the bottem. Damn I saw it in that video but didn't do it for some stupid reason. Hard to start drilling holes right now.
So holes in the bottom and I should be al right ?

Its best to follow the tek exactly as written, especially if your first time. Only one cake? If so i would start a new batch with 12 cakes and get a 64 Qt sterilite or rubbermaid container. Then drill 1/4 holes every 2 inches on all 6 sides. I like the all clear ones. Actually if you dont have a glovebox yet id get 2 and make a simple glovebox. Good luck
