Tell me if you think this is fucked up.
My boyfriends dealer had shrooms and we asked him to hold them, we would be at his place that evening. He agrees and then when we show up he's gone. We waited around for 2 hrs ar a friends house and we find out the next morning that he sold them to someone else. My boyfriend said it was okay, that we would buy acid from this guy instead and that the dealer was a great guy. I screamed, cussed, and had such a fuckin fit that my bf promised he wouldn't deal with the guy again. It's not his fault but I hate shady people.

Unfortunately you come across shady people more often living this type of lifestyle. We wouldn't have to deal with this shit if the drug laws were revised.

Hey, look at the bright side, I'd rather grab some LSD than mushrooms. That's just me though!

I HATE DEALERS.
I stopped smoking weed because I hate dealing with these degenerates.
I need to log into the growery and research some more. I love weed, but not enough to deal with asshats every time.

maybe someone offered him more money or he wanted the money despritly at the time.
Its not like he sold you bunk mushrooms or something. Why not just 'settle' for acid? I know I would have gone for the acid.
I dont think its any reason to stop going to a dealer because they wouldn't put your drugs on hold.

I don't hold mushrooms for anyone. Half the time they flake out and don't even show up.

Zepp, dont put your trust in people who dont earn it first.
You have to learn how to size up scum bags and how to handle them.

how is this guy a scum bag?
You dont know anything about him except that he sells mushrooms and lsd.
He could be anyone on the shroomery. He hardly did anything wrong. Sure, I'd be dissapointed with him that he sold your unpurchased drugs and broke a vague promise. But seriously.

well i generalised the guy a bit being a drug dealer who doesn't keep to his word. But minus that term, i think it's still relevant. One has to learn how to handle these sorts of people.

First come, first served. Plus, how many drug dealers aren't shady to some extent?

I very much dislike the culture of drug users talking shit about drug dealers.
It's so divisive and so bullshit. There's a lot of envious, jealous type hater bullshit wrapped up in the sentiment of "dealers are evil but drugs are GR8!"
First come first served is motherfucking right.
What if you and your BF changed your minds about picking up the shrooms? The dealer would have been out on cash. Next time, if you want something, go buy it as immediately as possible.
This isn't Wal-Mart. You know inventory is erratic and scanty like Soviet Union store shelves.
I will concede that the dealer saying one thing and then doing another is less than admirable, and should most certainly be considered in the future. I.E. if two people had the same quality material I'd purchase from the guy that isn't the one that failed to sell me the sack he said he'd hold for me.
You're overusing the word "shady" though. Shady is when the kid tells you and your bf to come get your mushrooms that he hid in the forest and then his 3 friends with baseball bats pop out of the bushes and beat your ass and take your money.
That's shady.
Getting handed a bag full of half-dried button mushrooms that were sold as "dank shrooms" is shady.
Missing out on a sack of drugs that you wanted because you waited too long to pick them up and then bitching about the situation and having your BF lose a connect to legit psychedelics, that's just priceless.

If you tell someone you're going to do something and you don't regardless of the reasoning, you are no longer a person of your word and I will no longer implicate myself with you, because who knows how loyal you might or might not be. First come first served ends when you make a reserve time and date.

its not like anyone here has never accidently not kept their word or told a lie though. One time is not enough, if it's something that happens regularly, or the person swears a promise in a serious manner, then thats a bit different.

I understand first come, first serve but when you agree to meet up with someone at your house and you don't show up to your own house, it's bad business. I hope he ends up with a lot of shit bud he can't sell
