The fuck you gonna do, oldboy? 1

Imagine one day you are doing your usual daily business around town, whatever it is; be it meeting up for a date, heading off to the bar, picking up food, buying a gift for your daughter's birthday, anything. You're doin your thangs.
Now suddenly, you are knocked unconsciousness by an unknown captor.
You awaken in a room. It looks like a 4-star motel room, and your only company is one television set (also your only connection to the outside world).
At set intervals someone slips some food to you through a slit in the door.
At random intervals, however, you are gassed and drugged into unconsciousness. There is no way for you to commit suicide as the instant you attempt to, you are gassed and drugged and black out. Upon awakening, you notice someone has given you a new change of clothes. Your room is always tidied up upon your awakening.
Now imagine this happens for 10 years straight. While watching TV you learn news that the 2 people closest to you have been brutally murdered, and you are the prime suspect.
For 10 years you are imprisoned, and you must deal with it.
Then one day, 10 years from the day you were imprisoned, you are once again drugged/gassed. As expected, of course. Except this time, when you awaken, you are back out into the world, with a snazzy new suit, but no clues as to WHO put you through that decade of bullshit.
What the fuck would you do, both while imprisoned and once you get out? What would you think? How would you cope? Would you even still be alive by the time you are released or would you have allowed yourself to rot in despair by then?
Well, oldboy?
Whatcha gon' do?

when i escape i would find some place to tell my story. likely the police. then i would check to see if i still had all my money and belongings and all those fancy things.
then i would talk to my family to see whats up and if i could stay at one of their places assuming i no longer had my own place.

You forget you're the prime suspect in the murder of the 2 people closest to you. Police and family contact aren't an option, you're on your own bud.

Maybe because he has the more efficient end of the hammer pointing outwards.

old boy was probably one of the best movies ever made, that fight sequences are fairly realistic if you consider the guy had 10 years to get into shape, gain the determination to accomplish his goal

last i checked police officers dont do investigations and dont have the final say in any ruling.
especially when there is a lack of dna evidence supporting that you were the killer, and nobody has come forward and said you killed them and they witnessed it.
i think my plan would work pretty well. you didnt even get arrested by an officer. you walked into the police station and said "yo i just got free from being captive for 20 years". its not like you walk in and say "hey i was captive for 20 years, by the way im not the guy who killed my family members"

15 years is too much... suicide.
On the outside at least there will be hookers and dope before the eventual suicide.
