I received a question regarding the quart jars..

This is the method Swim prefers.. When you do the quart jars you put the millet into a big pan, add water so that the water comes to about 1/2 inch above the millet, then put the stove on medium and let it cook while stirring for about 15-20 minutes or until it looks like the millet has absorbed the water.. then drain it and fill the quart jars 2/3 full with the millet, then pressure cook.

Another person asked regarding the casing layer.

You can add a casing layer of 5 parts vermiculite 5 parts coco coir (its reptile bedding found at pet smart) and 1 part crushed oyster shell (found at pet smart)..
Make sure to pasturize. This generally improves yields.
