What's your current job?

Plus what is your favorite job you've ever had. Plus what would your ideal job be if you could do anything.
I work the nightshift at a grocery store stacking shelves.(it blows)
The best job I ever had was at a summer camp being a counselor. By far one of the most fun things i've ever done.
Ideal job for me would be some sort of entertainer. Musician or Comedian or something.

Thats not so bad except for the night shift thing. This fucks up your health and increases cancer risk How much do they pay you per hour?
I'm working for an agency and I get sent to different places each shift. My duties include generally bar work related activities like giving pints and shit to people but depending on the venue I do all sorts of other boring shit.
It pays £5.95.h-1. It pisses me off that sometimes I gotta travel outside town and I lose too much time when I have to be studying
My dream job is in a research laboratory that deals with some sort of bioimaging. And hopefully (if my funding is ok) Ima do exactly dat during the summer. Gonna cut rats nerves, stain it with trippy fluorescent dyes and look at the cells Sounds pretty dope

Warehouse, 3rd shift, 10 hours, 4 days a week. I've had it for about three weeks now and as far as jobs I've had go it's one of the better ones. I'm pretty happy about it, I had to quit smoking for 4 weeks to get the job but it was all worth it.

If you say that one more time, I'll have to come over and live with you. Yours is just about the perfect job!
As for myself: I'm a grad student now. All considered, it's probably the best job I ever had, so I'm sort of sad that I'll be finished by the end of this year. If I could to anything, I'd probably settle down with someone like shroomzi (allowing me to be around exotic plants all day...that would be excellent!) and become a writer, allowing me to spend lots of time in beautiful places, contemplating the book I'm writing, and giving a hand in the whole plant business and all. Every day, I would get up somewhere not too early but not too late either, do some writing, do some reflection while doing a bit of walking, then do some more writing, shop for fresh produce (and find something in nature while doing the reflective walk) somewhere during the day, and cook a nice dinner at night. There will be cats, and a garden with all sorts of useful and/or tasty plants.

Replace the writing with music and visual art and you basically have my dream life as well.
Though I'd have more than just cats.
Edit: And copious amounts of marijuana and psychedelics. Though that's probably a given.

I work at an Italian restaurant now, just started last week.
Best work I've had was in Motorcycle Concentration of Faro, taking beers, drinking beers it's a very relaxed environment and you get o know people from all over the world.
Worst I did was promotions, the most stupid job I've done.
I'd love to take a masters in ethnobotany and/or mycology, but I have to finish my course which is currently in "stand by".

Behind the scenes of society, well outside your Monkeysphere there are many people hard at work whom you will never know to make your life more awesome.
In the production of bottled beer, right before the beer filling machine, did you know theres a guy at the conveyor belt wiggling his tongue in the bottle opening to assure the bottle is well shaped so you won't cut yourself?
That guy is me, think about that next time you drink a beer straight from the bottle.

WORST job I had was either burger king or installing fiberglass (glass wool) insulation. I know a few people who are in promotions and claim to love it.

It was as if I had sand in my eyes for the whole day. Plus the overall itching of course. I hate it.
