Ask not, how to get the 72 virgins.. Ask, why they still are virgins.
If I ask my subconscious/inner dialogue I get the following answers:
-I will die a relatively sudden death, too sudden to build up a state of prologed suffering. Cigarettes won't kill me, I won't whither away as some wretched old man in a nursing home, no suicide or other chosen death, none of that hardship. The three likely candidates I see but I was told not to press on, are cardiac arrest, traffic accident and death by violence. Thats me assuming things though.
-beyond death apparently something is waiting for me that is more beautiful than my wildest dreams, and I have some pretty wild dreams. Based on some info I got one might well become a God (or THE God) when dying and that this is more than can be imagined from the human perspective.
There I hit a singularity and the buck stops there, you can't reason beyond the event horizon of transcending all human boundaries. What would a God do? Theres no frame of reference but blind assumption.
I was told I shouldnt press on, instead it would be shown to me when I'm ready to receive it.
I did get the hint I'm going to be united with everyone I ever cared for, personally or abstractly, for all eternity, but this can take the form of reincarnating forever in the same worlds, be the God of their universe and care for them or both. My guess is both.
...but then again, maybe when I die I'm gonna open my eyes and will be faced with my closest friend in a world I have long since forgotten exclaiming: "What did I tell you? Is that strong shit or what?!"

The last trip I had made me change my mind about afterlife completely. It was my first full blown ego death.
I used to think I knew how the world played out. Everything about life and death could be explained using science. I was an atheist. My religion was evolution, life was just the natural process of chemicals doin thangs.
Ego death changed my mind. It happened when I came back to my body. It felt as if I were reborn, much like jesus. I'm still not too sure what to make of it, but it seems shrooms did a hell of a good job convincing me I was jesus.
This is what I was left with: (When I say Jesus/God, I don't mean them for what they are commonly known for today, I don't believe in those figures, but ones they were based off) Christianity and other western religions are close to the truth, reincarnation is also involved.
Jesus is the only consciousness and gets reborn as every person (maybe as every form of life) continuously.
God is a very real "thing". He may be what make up everything in existence, He is all experienced, yet neutral, and in a way bored. He is an essence, maybe. I also feel he and the devil are one, as if God were a range of emotions stretching from the whitest goodness to blackest evil.
As we, being Jesus, die, we are reincarnated into another physical body.
God exists in a timeless spaceless zone. Almost as if it were a plane of emotion and knowledge. He contains all knowledge and emotion, yet remains uninformative and emotionless. He has no reason. He is (damn that sounds religulous... ).This may be the cosmic consciousness.
Jesus exists as an incomplete form of God. He is God without the all-experienced knowledge. He is Gods child in a way, an experiment to watch improve over time.
Jesus and God are the only 2 things there are. God is the multiverse, Jesus is the player. Jesus is continually reincarnated into every living thing, gaining a little experience from each life. (reincarnation may not be linear with time)
So, we are all jesus. We live our life, learn something beautiful, and die. Each life must be lived, the good and the bad. All lives that are existing and interacting are all jesus unknowingly interacting with himself, bouncing thoughts and emotions and interacting around the world, around the multivers, all with himself, continuously improving himself with himself, with seemingly no interaction from God. I think the final reincarnation may be the actual jesus christ himself, finally having gained enough experience to leave the physical universe and join God.
Its as if all existence were a movie and God wrote the script, giving everything purpose in affecting the outcome of the "movie". Each role or life was given specific purpose, no matter how long or short lived. Each role is played by jesus and in each life he gains something new(by interacting with himself in gods playground), dies, and is reincarnated as with a mind closer to that which resembles God's infinite understanding and all-experienced. Jesus is "put in other peoples shoes" to view the universe from all perspectives of life, the rich, the poor, the sexy, the ugly, all to gain understanding of interacting emotions, love, hate, empathy.
Jesus lives through each life as a fraction of the cosmic consciousness, interacting with himself and unlocking more of the cosmic consciousness through each experience gained. Once he has lived enough lives and gained enough experience, he is reincarnated into the final form of jesus christ, the empathetic person anyone could be, he is practically the physical form of God himself with the widest consciousness.
At this point, things get difficult and I'm not really sure what to make of it. It's like beating a game or finishing a movie, it seems like things would just end, but to me, that doesnt seem right, it feels like thangs should eternally continue, maybe thats heaven.
TLDR: We are all jesus being reincarnated and interacting with ourself from different perspectives, gaining experiences from ourself through time and space, until we gain all experience in this physical multiverse and become as all knowing as God himself and are reunited into heaven on the final death as a completed consciousness.

Your conciouness manifests reality. Your body is not the producer of your conciousness - its the reciever.
When you die - its like going into another dimension. Its almost impossible for any human to tell you what its like there but I can tell you in that realm you manifest your reality.
Spirits that get trapped on earth (ghosts/poltergeists) either choose to loiter or are trapped by belief that they are not dead etc so I have to conclude that your consciousness will create your reality in the other dimension. I have no ideas on the boundary of this.
Many schools of thought see it as a spiritual hierarchy that depends on how adept you are but nobody really knows until it happens. It could be viewed in many different ways but I'm certain death is not the end. Study into ghosts, NDEs and my personal experience of dead relatives visiting my family have me convinced that the afterlife is as real as this one.

Thats beautiful man, absolute beauty.
Its almost identical to the message I get when sober, on psychedelics or dissociatives. We are obviously experiencing the same thing in different metaphors tailored to our minds.
You will never get ANY proof for this, cause God wants you to BELIEVE. It wants you to alweays have doubt, but believe nonetheless.
Isnt it awesome mr Atheist? You came a long way. Don't fight it, even if the vision slips away. You have Seen and Believed, thats all that matters.

Jesus was a king of Isreal and cult figure and really has nothing to do with God in the true sense of the word God.
Jesus is just another man. He was a powerful king which is why he is still known today and was written about in ancient texts. There are hundreds of "jesus" like figures in every culture on Earth. Try not to get stuck in the thought loop of praising an imaginary diety - especially one that was just a man like you.

I think that atoms are energy, we have this physical shape but when decomposed are transformed and our atoms are incorporated into others life forms. Who knows where did the atoms that now compose everything came from? I think this is it, the universe is a huge mass of matter in constant transformation, death is just a part of that matter transformation cycle. I don't believe in ghosts or poltergeists, or spirits whatsoever The only true overwhelming force that I can conceive to exist is Nature, not gods who fathered messiahs and yada yada yada.

I don't believe in anything but I can tell you theres a hell of a lot of data showing ghosts and life after death to be as real as anything else in this world.
If you choose not to believe then you basically have a flawed view of reality because nothing can be empiricly proven. Absolutely nothing.
The closest a human can get to any truth is to look at as much available data on the subject matter as possible and logically calculate how likely it is.

Did you experience a white light in your ego death experience?
I have had what I would say was ego death twice...
What happened was I experienced myself from a 3rd person perspective, I could see all my functionings layed out in front of me, then I had this physical / mental pain that grew more and more intense until I was sure I was dying...
At that point I surrendered to a higher being (god / the source / the multiverse) I dunno what I was surrendering to exactly it was just a facet of accepting my death. As soon as I accepted it I was no longer in in my body. I had no emotion or anlysis - I was in what I can only decribe as a bright white light that I was a part of or bathed in. It felt good because I was just experience and nothing else.
I only returned to my body when my ego kicked back in and started trying to figure out where I was and what had happened.

The realisation IMO is that you manifest your own reality and destiny and the boundaries are not where we are told...
?
I take it you mean the same thing by saying you are Jesus?
Jesus is a bad metaphor though because Jesus was a king of Isreal. Its like saying I realised I was the Queen

I deffinitly think there is a heaven. I've had some recent events where I have completely found God, Jesus, the holy spirit ( blah blah blah.. I know you guys hate this stuff ) I talk to God now and get answers rather quickly ( not Schizophrenically.. I know the difference )
So I'm Pro-Heaven!
and I must say.. Although I don't want to die right now, I'm pretty excited. I don't fear death in the slightest anymore.

Is that strong shit or what?!"
when I reached singularity I asked what happens when I die, this answer came back 'If its one thing you should of learned on earth its that you have to wait until that moment'. Damn singularity
-------------------- Something there is mysteriously formed, Existing before Heaven and Earth, Silent, still, standing alone, unchanging, All-pervading, unfailing, I do not know its name; I call it tao. If forced to give it a name, I call it Great (ta). Being great, it flows out; Flowing out means far-reaching; Being far-reaching, it is said to return. It's just a shot away..

Im down for nothing. Lifes hard. Some rest would be nice.
Followed by another chance of being conscious. I kinda like that. Dead for a while, alive for a blink, and then dead again.
I dont sweat it because I feel like itll be just like how it was before i was born, and since i cant tell if that was a time of good or bad, then death would be just as good.
