Let's anthropomorphize the Cubie! 1
#14425237 - 05/09/11 03:36 PM (12 years, 8 months ago) |
|

Everybody who has shroomed, shrooms or is about to knows Cubies, Psilocybe cubensis, the most common kind of shroom offered in shroomy transactions
Lets anthropomorphize Cubies, just like furries anthropomorphize animals.
Come, let's make them humanlike
Majority rules on how we view the anthro Cubie.

Mushrooms are my favorite drug. I'd that the average wise user takes more than 2.3 grams though. Maybe the beginner and the people who don't respect the mushrooms for what they are stick to lower doses for the most part. But I think the seekers should/do take more. I love shrooming. As María Sabina says- they are the holy children, the saint children, the wild little ones.

At the time of the instructional well over 1000 people had responded to The Great Mushrooms Poll and the average dose of the shroomery was approximately 2.3. Now that questions are answered by 4000-9000 Shroomers it may be interesting to recalculate.
Its a dose that generally won't rip a beginner apart and which should give appreciable effects when halved, so I stuck with it when making the informational pic.

I couldn't apply a single age or emotion to it, it's too much of a varying experience.
Sometimes it's a hilarious jester funny guy, other times it punches you in the face and rips you apart
It never has the same mask on for me, so I can't anthropomorphize it.

Because it's a cubie! Cubies are only months old when they're picked. Sure, they may have a lot of innate wisdom, but they're young adults for sure.

i put STAL for all of them (except for the "what categories do you belong to?" question) because i cant give human qualities to something that i associate with nothing other than being a mushroom.
its... a mushroom.
every effect the compound inside of it has on me is from my own being. it is my mind altered. not some other mind imposing thoughts or feelings upon me. i have no reason to impose what i experience/feel while ingesting a compound upon that compound. its all me.

Cool poll.
2.3 gram is pretty good for an average.
I prefer 1.75 to 2 myself. Although its been like 3 years since I tripped.

That poll was back in 04. I`d love to see if that has changed at all since then. Has there been any new polls like that recently???

Yes but for me some of those has changed since I took the poll. It would be interesting to have something like this every year and see how the use of psilocybin fluctuates from year to year. Or am I reading the poll wrong and it does show that?

When I anthropomorphize "Cubie" I imagine an ancient, wise man. Like a Gandalf wizard type being, but more stoic and mysterious than even Gandalf.
