To know when to fight includes knowing when not to fight. I could have just as easily said the one as the other.
If a person only fights when they know they can win they are a coward and a bully.

Don't misjudge me. I am loyal to ideals, not a country that says it has the ideals I believe in but really doesn't.

Oh come now...i've read your other posts, and you say to support your troops no matter what, even if you dont agree. That is patriotism at its worst! and it is not an ideal, cus if it was youd support every military, which is not the case...only "your" military.
You also said something along the lines of "if america is hit harder than 9/11 nuclear retaliation will be dealt out. Now i know you didn't say "you think america should...." but thats why i get confused about you sometimes. Still with your ideals, how support your country at a time like this?

I am sorry for being so complex. I never really said exactly what I think and feel for fear of hurting someone's feelings or causing people to think less of the Shroomery because of me.
But since you brought this up I'll try to explain a little bit about what I think/feel about these issues.
Do I support our troops? Well, what do you mean by support? Do I support them in the bloody carnage they are involved in presently in Iraq? No if support means I agree with what they are doing. But yes if support means I think having a military is a good idea. Every country needs to be able to defend itself against foreign invaders.
Do I support what my country is doing in this war? No, if support means agreeing that this was the only way to handle Saddam. But yes if support means I think he should be gotten rid of. I would never have started this war. I would never start any war unless we were attacked.
Obviously this means I support a war against Osama Bin Laden and his group.
I hope that clears it up a little.
