Do any of you dudes know of any good musician forums?

My stickied albums download thread got a REALLY good run, with approx. 374 downloads in the past month but now it's been unstickied and that is all neat and dandy, as I got to do what I wanted: spread my music to my intended audience (it was always the psychedelic community who was the intended target demographic of my music, and lo and behold you guys are the first ones to get ahold of my first 4 albums! ) so now it's time to start audially blitzkrieg promoting my shit on musician forums.
Anybody familiar with any really good, receptive and mature musician websites/forums, or anywhere I could start spreading my tunes to a much greater degree? I just signed up to Sputnik music, but I frankly don't know where to start

Well I asked my thread to be moved over there. Bad move? I still wasn't done releasing... keep in mind that those 4 albums I released here, those songs were made 2-3 years ago, some as far back as 5-6 years ago, and I think only 3-5 songs on those albums were actually made this year.
So for the people who said 'oh you're releasing too fast in too little time you focus on quantity not quality" no, that's a stupid thing to say, because my music's sound/quality sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay different now, and I'm just clearing out this annoyingly huge backlog of music I've made before I can crank new shit out (well I'm already still creating almost every day, but it won't be released until my older stuff's out the way).

My friend, this is but 1 method of my promotional tactics and I know the interwebz well enough to be familiar with its etiquette and do's/not to do's. I see no harm in making the same thread I made here with free tunes to download. And I'm obviously not going to start spreading my shit right off the bat.

i love how you keep saying that this "material" you release is your old shit that you just gotta "get outta the way"
if you have to make an excuse for why it's not up to par, why not just trash it, focus on making your new stuff quality, and only release that stuff

I made these songs within the past 5 years, and I'm only now starting to spread them (to the public, alot of people I know IRL already have these albums and I've gotten fucking 95% mostly positive feedback both from friends AND random people here, and random people who download it), what do you not understand? They're still ALL MY MUSIC, they're still listenable, they're all part of my musical legacy/discography, and I'm still going to fucking release them and not scrap them. You want to know what my sound is now? Psychedelic neo-classical metaphysical ambient. I've long progressed since the albums released already.
I'm not making any excuses, I'm straight up telling people that all these releases are old releases I never got to spread, but they're still fucking albums I worked on. I wholeheartedly AGREE they are not up to par and the quality might be a bit iffy but IT IS STILL MY MUSIC IN THE END.
Why am I going to trash fucking 5 years worth of music I put my heart and soul into making? That is the most fucking retarded suggestion I've ever heard.

Well a really decent site to share your music in an easy and efficient way is Soundcloud, but you probably already heard about it.
If not, well.

Yep, already know it! Does SoundCloud have a forum though? I'm talking specifically about musician forums.

Im not exactly sure how it works because I havent personally used it for my band yet, but I think you create a profile and upload music and its sort of like a myspace or something but specifically for musicians.

There is a forum section, but I don't find it to be very practical and nice to use.

Hahaha yeah that died a while ago. I'm trying to think of actual forums, but the only ones i can think of are specifically geared towards musical equipment rather than promoting music

I doubt I'll ever get rich and famous with song titles such as "Ayahuascic Trance", "Dimethyltryptamine (Destructive Moments of Transcendence" or "Ketaminic Eclipse", but I am considering throwing in little.. bonuses.. in CD's I would plan to ship, of which you can receive, and enjoy Hyperspace in.

Yeah man, don't scrap any of your work but make sure its up to par. I do agree with whoever said to choose the best and release one album instead of four. IMO it is possible for an artist to overproduce.
But anyways, soundcloud was already mentioned, what about soundclick? I would make both if you haven't already. Plus a myspace page, facebook fan page, band website with bio, and if you can, try and play as many live shows as possible. You said you are signed with sputnik, but what are they doing for you? How are they promoting your music?
Can I have a link to your music so I can listen as well?

godwidevoid.blogspot.com, it's in my signature.
I'm signed up to the sputnik music forums, not the label
Each release means something to me, and I already have a set order for my discography, and am releasing the albums in a certain order I've already decided upon based on the sound of each. I'm slowly shifting towards my current sound with my releases.
Im already playing live performances at an Open Mic my friend hosts every thursday, and we already began discusing having me be the "featured artist/main event" every other week, plus he's going to hook me up with mad live shows, of which I'm going to spread free CDrs of my albums at.
I know veeeeery well what I'm doing. I have it all planned out.

FF 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, and 10-2 consumed thousands of hours of my childhood so of course I'd make an album dedicated to it! (and psychedelics, together ) Nobuo Uematsu and Yasuonri Mitsuda (Xenogears, Chrono Cross composer) are HUUUUGE influences on me too. Man I can't count how many times I'd use "Scan" magic in FFVIII just to hear the Boss Battle theme or Laguna's battle theme.
