Human life without drugs?

I think human life without drugs has never existed, and never will and never should.
Human mind is not stand alone ustility:
1. If you compare man and woman, woman have a menstruation, which is painful and or has emotional changes, that go away in few days. This makes them far more equipped then man.
2. Meditation, yoga, , sports, gym, body works like SM, are all drug producing activities.
3. Mind alone just cant do it.
What do you think?
I started a thread to make a book of recipes for drugs that will heal us and the community in all sorts of social interactions: in PERFECT WORLD...

I've never put thought into point two, but it makes sense, we will never be without drugs in our lives.

Number 2 makes no sense, all of those use the power of the mind, no drugs involved. Seratonin and dopamine are neurotransmitters, not necessarily drugs

Well then let me point you to this wiki page.
Quote:
Drugs are usually distinguished from endogenous biochemicals by being introduced from outside the organism.[
4th paragraph. Its debatable but I would think a drug is something that is introduced into the body. If something is already present in the body then it pretty much contradicts the meaning of a 'drug'.

guys would you please read the article and not argue.
You get high from running, weights and Sado Masochism, by increasing beta endorphins which are in family of morphine... Your body can produce: Wiki: β-endorphin has the highest affinity for the μ1 opioid receptor, slightly lower affinity for the μ2 and δ opioid receptors and low affinity for the κ1 opioid receptors. μ opioid receptors are the main receptor through which morphine acts.

Your definition of drug is very narrow.
Plants/fungi came first before we(sentient complex organisms) ever did. Some plants/fungi have certain chemicals that when eaten and digested get released directly into the bloodstream and into our brains to produce psychoactive effect.
Life without drugs would predispose a lot of organisms to...not exist. As for us, we would find other ways to alter our brains. It's only natural to tinker with the biological order of our bodies.

You're mind and body are run on insanely complex systems of chemical reactions which include the release of hormones, and chemicals like serotonin. All actual drugs do are elicit these responses externally and artificially. Therefore, obviously human life has never existed without what you're referring to as 'drugs' but that's because life does not exist without chemicals. Nor does anything else. This alone is not a valid argument for the use of illicit or even legal drugs as they can both have deleterious effects on the mind and body. That being said, sometimes 'drugs' or chemicals are intensely necessary, as in the case of diabetics or schizophrenics. Also, that being said, smoke weed erryday

Indeed. It's a wonder we don't just suddenly drop dead and turn into goo.

People who need drugs to have a good time or go through life, need help.
Being addicted to drugs is not a criminal behavior, it's a medical condition, just like anorexia or bulimia or diabetes type 2. You need help and not the shit that big pharma offers to curb the symptoms...

I'm sure this had been said already, but human life without drugs = death. Your brain is always on drugs. And what's interesting is that many psychedelics mimic natural neurotransmitters.
