Mutant or a slow learner, it might form a cap later, or it could grow into a psychedelic golf ball, FOUR!

stick with day and night schedule with lighting, and plenty of FAE.

You can only have too much FAE if you are drying things out.

Light should be on a clear day night schedule, cant really have too much unless its on most of the time.

You cant have too much humidity, they love high humidity

:hehehe: and i thought I was alone on that.

now back to the subject. i had a cap like that. it was just a slow learner. i guess it didnt want to take its trainer wheels off yet and be a big boy.

humidity problems will cause a lack of pinning, or if you get bad drops in humidity during fruiting it can case caps to split in the middle, like someone cut an x in the middle of yoiur cap.

you probably just got some weird ginetics going on.

Try pulling tiny ones loose and set them upside down in the tiny divot, they might do that.  Sure it'd be fake but you don't have to explain how it happened.

Smaller mushrooms are more potent by weight...
I ate five grams dry earlier in the day and still tripped off the 22g fresh tea.

I made some tea with the 22.5 g fresh and still had a mild trip even after eating the 5g dry the same day.

a waste if you're buying the shrooms... if you're growing for personal use only... you can have a serious shroom savings account.

Whew the first one lasted 6-8 hours, it was crazy!

The only reason that I made the pins into tea is because I was cleaning out the mono after the second flush and I didn't want to bother wasting my time drying a bunch of tiny pins that I found on the bottom and sides of the sub since I already had dry ounces.

The tea barely made me trip, it was a very relaxing mellow body buzz with slight visuals and only lasted about 3 hours but it was better than drying pins. I think I will make tea with my shrooms from now on, it is much easier on my stomach and it feels like I am more in control. If I eat dry shrooms I am usually stuck laying on the floor moaning because I have digestive problems. Yep I think tea is they way for me from now on, unless I am outdoors camping or something and I want a stronger trip.

If I wasn't worried about my 6 year old finding a paper bag full of tiny mushrooms in the fridge I would have saved them till next weekend and drank the tea. But she loves mushrooms and I would hate for her to find some, she would most likely eat them. Once I had to take her to the hospital to get treated with some activated charcoal because she ate a mushroom out of my friends front yard and I am sure it wasn't an edible.
