i lived in AR for 12 years!! there are definitely cubes in AR!! but your finds are not the magic! if you look in the cow fields a day or 2 after a nice rain you will find what your lookin for! if your lookin for magic that is your gonna wanna find psylocybe cubensis.. its gonna be a brown/gold cap shroom which quickly bruises blue.. heres a GREAT guide to cubes! scroll down theres a detailed pictorial! all the shrooms in my sig are cubes as well! only they were cultivated not found..

Sorry, first time. filling out ID Form right now, as well as working on the spore print.
the main question is: are any of them "magic"/ hallucinogenic?
might help:
SAMPLE 1
SAMPLE 2
SAMPLE 3 (believed to be all the same)

That video was good. We went out looking again, but unfortunately couldn't get to a good field before the sun fell. In the video, he just walked into the field and found one after a couple minutes. I mean, is it going to be that easy to find one? We were digging through grass and only finding way smaller (non-magical) shrooms.
And of course, when we went out the first time, we didn't really have much of an idea what exactly we were looking for. That was kind of the point.. I want to learn to identify properly before ingesting any of my own discoveries.

cubes are SUPER SIMPLE to identify and the only mushroom in the field that will bruise blue! im from camden/eldorado area and the things grow rampant in those parts!! pretty much like the vid.. let it rain and go out in the week following a good soak.. they grow directly from cowshit.. horse fields not so much but still might have some finds.. like i said this is one of the most awesome guides! http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5372273#5372273 it shows pics of pretty much every detail from spore color to bruising.. the bruising is a awesome unique foolproof way to tell! good luck! i know your gonna have a trippy season!
