If i case colonized straw following the 40/60 or 50/50 tek. will it improve yeilds as to just casing it with brf cakes

brf cakes are substrate....you don't case with substrate.

use a casing layer on the straw.

either 50/50 or 60/40 Verm and Coco Coir.

you spawn the straw with the cakes, then after it colonizes you case it.
