Hey all,
Ive been in the game for awhile now mostly doing the PF-Tek with 1/2pint jars. but now due to my new place  an lack of room I cant no longer make the substrate  through them in the PC or nothing. I was wondering any one got any idea what I could do. I was wondering would some one Make me some 1/2pint PF Jars?  an ship them to me I'm in MASS. or if you live there I'm looking for some friends too LOL.

www.micronmagick.com sells pre-sterilized jars of substrate. Also try using the microwave, its a little tricky and the details are sketcy but it can be done.

Human's are resourceful by nature,

I would suggest using oven bags and baking the substrate, and innoculating through the bag (use poly-fill and electrical tape for a make shift filter for the bag opening)

If you have access to a kitchen boil (steam) them.

Electrical tape doesnt hold up well under heat...dry or wet....most tapes are like magnets for contamination anyway....Bags: Large Autoclavable Filter Patch Spawn Bags (20 pack) Price: $8.00....thats 40 cents each....50cents after shipping

Just like Roadkill said, steam the jars with the substrate in them. do just like you have befor and just take some water boil it set the jars down in the water if you have to and cut the stove down on low and steam for about one hour then let cool and there yea have it. some ppl would argue about setting the jars in the water cause it well be directly over the stove eye and might evape the water quicker but thats the way i did mine today so if it don't work i'll holla back at ya.

well the prob is that i cant do it cause my room mates are in the kitchen to much an they would know.... so i asked my friend an he said hem an his room mate dont mind but his place isnt really what u can call "CLEAN". If i where to do it at his house i mean prepare the substrate in the jars seal them seal the holes with tape cover with tinfoil an put them in the PC would all the contaams if any that where in it die an it woudl be good??? i dont wnat to waste my Spooreworks syrindges ya know i only got 10 of them :smile: what can i do???
