Obviously this isn't an ideal line of thinking and it shouldn't come to this but in all seriousness, leaving anything of value in a front garden is taking a risk.

If you left a football in your front garden in plain view of passers by,would you expect it to be left there?

Same reason why bikes are chained up instead of just left lying there as the chance of someone stealing it is high.

Shit world but what can you do...

Stealing is stealing and stealing is wrong. Do you blame someone who gets raped because she left her house to go for a jog at night? I bet she was just asking for it.

Well if you live in the city, why don't you just leave what's inside your house on your front lawn? Would you do that?

I'm not condoning any of this,I'm just saying you have to be realistic as you yourself should know.

Are you telling me you're surprised things like this happens?

If we lived in raindowland,we could leave whatever we wanted wherever we wanted but we don't so you do so at your own risk.

No one is surprised that shit gets stolen when you leave it outside. No one is even disputing this fact.

It's just pointless to mention in a discussion of the morality of theft.

As a father of a 3 year old I have to say shit would be ON if this bitch stole my son's bike. You shouldn't have to explain the concept of drunk bitches, stealing, and retardation to a 3 yr old IMO. Cause emotional pain to my son, I inflict physical pain to you. I think I'm over-protective though.

Just don't steal my son's bike man!
Seriously, though just the thought of some drunk bitch riding off with some kids bike, and having to explain it to the kid the next day why that happend.. pisses me off.

People who can't differentiate between realism and morality here are missing the point. The fact that shit left outside will get stolen does not justify theft, but it is still reality nonetheless.
