Nice1, you exhibit absolutely no understanding of how psychopharmaceuticals are prescribed or for what reasons. You also seem to exhibit a gaping deficit of knowledge as to what psychopharmaceuticals actually do. I could destroy every one of your "points" but I... yeah, okay, I will.
1. Lots of diseases didn't exist 200 years ago. AIDS didn't exist 200 years ago, so obviously it's a manufactured bullshit disease. People's immune systems aren't failing due to HIV, they're failing due to a lapse in proper Christian morals in modern society. 2. Less than 10% of the population, actually, when diagnostic criteria are followed.
Doctors prescribe amphetamines as part of a treatment regimen that includes talk therapy, specifically designed to limit the taking of medications. When people choose to abuse the drugs they or others have been prescribed, the responsibility lies with themselves and they have to live with the fallout of their poor decisions.

hope youre fucking kidding. i thought it was horrible and im tired of seeing the same dumb look/expression that natalie has on her face in 90% of movies shes in
i liked his other movie, the fountain. that was a crazy movie that was much more reminiscent of requiem than black swan was
but what do you expect when you take a great "indie" director and bring him to Hollywood?

Try to keep up - this is a satirical illustration of nice1's logic regarding psychopharmaceuticals.
No, actually, I was being totally serious. I belong to a fundamentalist Pentecostal sect that takes mushrooms before handling snakes in order to induce the wildest possible glossolalia.

Fuck man... I just watched this movie today, and it was sooo depressing.
I can't imagine waking up in a prison hospital with an amputated arm.
