A Nifty Idea for Sealing Spawn-Bags (Pics)

So I've had an impulse sealer for as long as I've used spawn-bags, but never really liked either the ordeal of getting it out of the PC and sealing it with out letting in contaminants or the bag-destructive process of sealing process itself.
After watching the RR videos on using spawn-bags, I was immediately drawn to his use of steel wire for sealing spawn-bags, and only had a chance to do it once before I had a great idea which, to date, has worked flawlessly. (Three out of three experiments successful.) So here it is:
If you are familiar with using a dry-sack or dry-bag (used in camping), then this will be all too familiar. Just like a dry bag, you fold and roll the top of the bag in flat 1/2" to 3/4" sections down until you're just above the filter patch. Then you form a circle with the belt-like folded plastic and connect the two ends. They won't come unrolled and form an airtight seal. This has been proven to me time and time again on rainy river camping trips where my dry-sack was the only thing keeping me sane (dry PJs.)
Here's a few shots of the bag all set up, and the jimmy-rigged hardware I used, but you could use a million things, so long as they are a solid clamp.

PJ's while camping? WTF??? I always heard that eating mushies make you gay...
Just kidding. I want to get into using bags but like you have said, the process scares me. This sounds interesting.

Yeh I forgot to mention the obvious benefits!; no f-ing with wire, on or off (hassle), no damage to the bag (conserve!) and you can roll that shiz up and have it sealed before it's even out of the pressure cooker if you want (I do.) Since I live in an old (historical society is all over my shit, victorian building) and MOLDY, and I don't have a laminar flow hood, this makes me a lot more comfortable.

(Now that I have a nice row of these hanging to cool and fill with air, I have to note that the circle formed by the seal makes a wonderful little hanger. Nifty!)

Honestly Ive always used good ole duct tape and never had a problem. I usually do 10 pounds of seed per bag, it usually fills it above the filter patch. Then i tape off the filter with masking tape, fold the opening up. wrap in two layers of aluminum foil. PC for 3.5 hours. Once the 3.5 hours is up, take it off the stove put it on my living room floor on a towl. Let it de-pressurize, spray the air down with oust. Pop the top off and instantly tape the living hell outta it. Dont fold in the sides because air can get in through the cracks, lay the opening flat against it self.
When I go to do the G2G i usually do it sitting on the floor spray the air down with oust then I cut the tape off dump the colonized WBS into the bag, re-tape the fuck outta it and shake. 5 days later 10 pounds of colonized spawn per bag.
Ive been meaning to make a Tek for this. Haven't gotten around to it. Ive never gotten a contam with WBS and Ive done lots of spawn
