Sounds like you've done your reading, which is a must. There is alot to learn in this hobby, and the more you read the better chances you have.
Points to mention:
Was there no pre-ground rice flour near by? I have not self grinded, but I bet finer flour would more evenly coat the vermiculite. 2mm seems a little coarse to me, but you may very well have success anyway. Im just picturing coarse flour and fine verm and it seems like it wouldn't coat the verm properly. Again, you probably will be alright.
I have to say, with 1/4 pints and the amount of spore solution you used you should have full colonization in around a week. This will also depend on the temperature you incubate at.
Next time, if you decide to continue using the 1/4 pints, you won't need as much solution. 1 cc per 1/2 is the typical, so 1/2 cc per 1/4 pint would be alright. Its up to you though
Good luck and godspeed your booms!

1: There was BRF at my store but jeeze it was expinsive so I ground my own (heard its better nutes anyway this I know from gourmee medicinal cooking my predominant hobby) I said the "biggest" chunks were aprox 2mm. Some of the flour was finer than baby powder (I used my coffee grinder) most of the flour was very finely ground.
2: Its hard to controll the plunger on my syringe but hey more could possibly be better. I hope you're right about the one week colonization time. I'm keeping the ambiant temp at aprox 77-85 degrees F its not too hard considering its kinda getting hot out here...
so here's to my cakes may they colonize like wild fire. Im doing Burmese Yangoon and Dancing Tiger china heard both are pretty aggressive and contam resistant...

Oh hey babz, is there anyway you can lower the heat by 5 or so degrees?
A temp of up to 85 can mean the inside of your jars could be closer to 90. This is the point where growth of mycelium slows and harmfull contaminants flourishes.
My opinion, and advice.

Honestly it sounds like you did everything alright sterilization wise. You just gotta slowly push it in and watch(not fun i know) but yeah you wont over do it on cc next time. But yeah you put 2ml/cc in each jar roughly so if it works out i imagine your flushes will be pretty nice which is the upside.

just got done making my FC I'll have pics soon I swear my mom has to come over for me to be able to use her camera (gay) so I wont have pics until I'm further down the colonization trail. I didn't have a 1/4 in drill bit or a drill so I used D8 construction nails heated em up and melted the holes (lemme tell ya how much of a chore that fuckin was!) And I put lots of holes all over some in denser concentrations than others hope the holes are big enough no its the hurry up and wait game. I'll get there eventually. I just gotta fuckin forget about it for a while so that when I do go look at em I'll be surprised instead of anxious and icky.

Yeah i know what you mean with the nails same way sadly but it allows me to chill and smoke. Up for your decesion though exposing them to light or not read that speeds up the process if your anxious and can't wait. By this i mean just natural sunlight instead of keeping the jars outa the light. And good luck hope it turns out well.

Does exposing them to light really speed up the process? Indirect of course. Someone with some knowledge on the subject give me some pointers??? I don't wanna fudge anything up this early in the game...
