Can i recase a casing?
    #1440382 - 04/08/03 08:44 PM (14 years, 20 days ago)

ok this is the deal.. I have a casing thats 100% verm. I just decided to do this for 2 reasons.

1. To learn about the casing deal
2. Its easy and i had alot of verm from that nice 4ft. bag i bought!

Ok this is the deal. Can I get my casing. Take it out the tupper ware. Crush it up and mix it with a 50/50 mix and recase it like that? I mean will the mycelium adapt to the new casing layer ??

Rob

if i understand you correctly you have a colonized casing you want to break up and re case? this a bad idea but it could possibly work.
