Yes! Not posting off topic in the NZ thread helps with most paranoia I find - fortunately for me paranoia is my bread and butter.

Has anyone found subaeruginosa or semilanceata around the Nelson region? I'm not looking for exact details I just want to know if there is hope. There is a brief reference in John W Allan's 'Magic mushrooms in Australia and New zealand' but I am keen to hear it from someone first hand. Peace

Learn to watch your thoughts and be aware of your self. You have absolutely no control over what the mushroom choses to bring to the party. It will cause your thoughts and emotions to spike, how you react to those however is completely within your control. Practice watching your thoughts when your not high, and learn how you most commonly react to emotions, once familiar with your own behavior on an analytical level almost any difficuilt patch in a psychedelic journey can be managed.
The rub is that it usually takes a few ass kickings to fully realise your controling, wanting and over reactive self

Yep no doubt, especially the subs as xthrx said.Probably some others e.g. subsects, even Weraroa in bush?? Note that there are some inaccuracies in said article. especially in the history of use here (must have started a lot earlier) and also on the species present. There are some previous posts on whether copelandia cyanascens is here or not, there seems to be no proof anywhere. also in the meantime some more(new)species have been identified here.

Found these today, I'm pretty sure they are Weraroa comparing to photos i've seen and them bruising blue. Although I've never actually seen them in person before. they were growing under some leaves in auckland along side some subs,
Does anyone know how much a low dose of these is?

That's P. subsecotioides
I think the potency is around the same as P. Subaeruginosa.
I'm pretty sure P. Weraroa doesn't fruit in Auckland

Weraroa does fruit here, its just super rare, I havent had any luck at all Yeah they secos, they are similar potency to subs, but depending on size you can dose 3 and trip very very hard if they're large.

Hey, can you help a noob out?
I've been hunting for a couple of days with no luck but this morning I found these in a bark chip garden. Any thoughts?

Is that blue bruising around the outside of the caps? pinch the stems and see if they bruise blue.
They certainly look like p. subs, but I'd wait for someone with a bit more experience than me to be certain.

You shouldn't be posting id requests in this thread. It is for confirmed finds which yours are not. Start your own thread in the main forum and you'll get more identifiers looking at your finds which will increase your chances of a positive id.
You have nothing active there. The Black staining one is a Hygrocybe sp. and the others could be a couple of things but the pics are too blurry for me anyways.
