Cubes on Patties from Field, Slime Molds + Contamination?

Hi all,
I brought home some fruiting cow patties (Florida) one week ago. Without regard for sterility (just wanted to see how this would work), I mixed a little old potting soil with some debris (leaves, etc) and dried grass from outside in a box formerly used to ship a computer, lined with a garbage bag. I placed the dung on top. As you can see, the box is rather small and the dung is sort of piled in together.
I watered daily. The first day I watered quite a bit, but have cut down since then. Yesterday I barely watered. Judging from the outcome, I'm guessing it might be too wet.
When the nights got below about 62 F, I put the box indoors. I usually closed the box overnight, to increase humidity. I usually left it open during the day. A few times I would close during the day and open at night. This was all determined by a "hunch" of what to do based on what I was seeing and weather conditions. Perhaps closing the box was not beneficial the last three nights, since the patties were already fruiting.
Non-active Panaeolus popped up in about 2 days. Cube pins the next day. I noticed "contamination" this morning when I opened up the box. Looks like a slime mold to me. I removed the patty with the slime mold and surrounding debris, as well as the funky mushroom. I plan on leaving the box outside today. It's fairly windy and the humidity should be in the 30%s in the afternoon, so this might help dry out the box.
Also, please notice the other photos, including the pics of little pins. Any advice? I'm guessing there might be some other "contamination" as well. The fruits are kind of small looking and have some mycelial overgrowth at the bases.
I would like to hear your input, comments, and advice on how to keep the mycelium happy. Thanks!

I was kind of annoyed at the thing for making my shroom gooey and not palatable...but thanks for the nomination!
An update on my shroom box: it's produced about 10 small to medium-sized shrooms. There are several more growing bigger and tons of pins. Some looking OK, some looking unhealthy.
The fully-grown shrooms have some weird features, maybe due to weather conditions. It's been dry lately (with low RH). Their only moisture are my glass-jar waterings with BRITA-filtered water (I don't have a mister, but might get one tomorrow). I close the box sometimes to keep the humidity up, but I find it gets really wet down at the bottom. A lot of these shrooms are almost dripping wet at the base when I pull them out. At the same time, some of the caps are cracking and seem dry. Also, some of the stems are bluing along most of their length even though they weren't touched. Not sure if this is due to the conditions or another reason. Any ideas?
Some pics of last night's harvest and the box:

you gotta stop watering the poo itll end up stalling/killing the myc but a spray bottle for misting. with most any substrates a pattern of dunk/flush/harvest/consolidate/dunk/f/h/c
the poo is going to flush a little more unevenly than a prepared substrate, so hydrating it might not be as simple
but dont drown the poo

your pictures make the patty and the mushrooms look great
if youve got a waterproof layer btwn the patty and whatever its sitting on, i would remove it
all that standing water at the bottom is asking for trouble

Thanks for the advice! It got me reading a little about cultivation. My shrooms have been a bit small and not the best looking, but I guess I really can't complain, considering I just put some poo in a box and watered it. It's yielded about 20 small-med size fruits.
I haven't watered it in 3 days, just been lightly misting it. I gently moved some of the patties to expose some wet areas beneath, and fanned the box pretty well overnight. There isn't any standing water at the bottom, but the soil beneath is still pretty wet. I haven't removed the plastic since I am afraid of disrupting growth, but as I said, it's not standing in water.

if they get too gooey i think there growing in too much humidity with alot of stagnant air, if your in florida, you dont really need to close that thing up. just make sure it doesnt get completely dry and im sure some will pop up in the morning dew.
and i hope your not taking shroom pattys from my field on southern by the zoo! :P
