Agrocybe:

As Alan suggested for the terrestrial one, possibly related to A. molesta. This one was found in mulch though. Primarily woodchips.
Gymnopus:

Gills: Densely gilled, white, subdecurrent to my recollection.
Cap: Hygrophanous and brown
Stipe: Fibrous, thin and tough.

Agrocybe #2 looks like a Gymnopus. Maybe Gymnopus dryophilus.

It is.
Better pic here

The tightly packed gills and texture were off for Agrocybe. I thought Gymnopus at first when I found those; should have trusted my first thought.

I hate seeing those close, shallow white gills! I can't tell you how many Gymnopus I've flipped over thinking they were something more interesting.

I hate Collybia butyracea. I seem to find tons of them when I'm hunting.

LOL. I heard that! Hopefully you'll find less of them this year.

Habitat: Growing either mycorrhizally with a conifer (I think a cedar, but I can't recall atm) or saprobically off of dead hardwood roots. Looking at the grow, I might venture the latter, but I'll provide more information as needed.
Location: Dalton, GA as almost always
Gills: White, somewhat far apart, and attached.
Stem: White around 3-4 inches long thick
Cap: The pileus is rather strong and the hymenium is completely separable form the pileal tissue.
Bruising: none.

EDIT: I think this one might be a different specimen

Here's it in relation to the stump

Ok, so they all are Megacollybia rodmani just those other ones have a somewhat different morphology?
Thank you for the ID; I've been curious.
